I’m not starting this episode to motivate you or flatter you or make you feel good about your old age or young age. I am writing this to tell you the truth and make you come to a realization that you can’t be too young or too old to achieve greatness. In the University of Greatness it’s never too late to do something amazing and it’s never too early to start trying.
Here is the truth; no one actually cares about your age, only you do. If you think there are people who cares so much also, well it’s just a care, meaning they are just concerned and that doesn’t change anything. There is no best age to be successful or worst age to be a failure. Success or failure are no respecter of age.
Maybe you haven’t heard the popular saying that “age is nothing but a number”. The most essential is the maturity of your mind
For instance when a lot of people come across me, not until I reveal my age, most people keep thinking and assuming I should be a smart 40-50 years of age and maybe old enough to have grandchildren.
Someone was amazed working with me sometimes back and actually made a confession saying “your age might be 17 but you don’t look 17; you have a mind of a smart and responsible 40-50 year old man. (About two years ago)
I am not repeating this to praise myself; I don’t gain anything doing that. This is to make you realize the helping truth about age and greatness.
The other day I met @poeticsnake on discord and we got talking and she said to me; “I’m 38, but I don’t feel anywhere old because I have a young mind". And that’s it, “a young mind”
You can be young and have a smart, responsible, old and mature mind like @bania and you can be old and have a smart, mature, young and amazing mind like @poeticsnake.
Age is not the problem and has never been the problem, your mind is. Your true age is a reflection of how well you have developed your mind over time. In the University of Greatness, age has very little influence on how great you will graduate.
Below are my best example of greatness stories that shows age is really nothing but mere numbers
Ronald Reagan became the 40th American President at the age of 70 like Donald Trump.
Daisy Ashford at age 9 wrote her bestselling novel, "The Young Visiters." and sold over 200,000 copies.
Colonel Sanders was well over 60 when he made it big with Kentucky Fried Chicken.
Victoria Van Meter became the youngest pilot girl to fly across the United States at age 11
Margaret Ringenberg flew around the world at age 72
Theodor Mommsen became the oldest person to receive a Nobel Prize in Literature.
Justin Bieber music career begin at age 14, made fame and fortunes over the years
These people all graduated from the University of Greatness at different age, some early and others late but they share same greatness story. Don’t get into the age trap and if you are in already just come out now. Age can’t stop you but your mind can.
Loved this post. But I have to say it' not easy to be and live this way. I'm 68 and lift weights, learn everyday, and just signed up for a new masters class in tech stuff. Any of the meetings I go to about digital tech they're all 20 and 30 year olds and men, primarily. I'm the only woman most of the times. But I love this. Learning and growing is my way of life and my passion.
Hey @stellar500, i am sorry for responding late, and i am glad you found this article and learnt something inspiring. I sure agree it's not easy to be old and thrive in business or career, however with the right mindset and the steps that you are already taken i believe you could still do great in life. Please don't ever think of giving up or looking back. Condition your mind for success and that will be your portion
Great Post very well researched it earns a full upvote from @ADSactly
Wow, i never expected this and this is just a definition of kindness. I am overwhelmingly glad. Thank you so much

That is totally right, our mind is the indicator of our greatness, not the number hat represents our age

Hey @bania , I am starting a podcast where I interview other entrepreneurs, I would like to invite to the inaugural episodes.
The podcasts will be hosted on my youtube account: https://www.youtube.com/nantchev
We talk about what you are currently doing in life, your business as well as your journey and any lessons or advice you want the world to know.
A casual conversation about entrepreneurship, and about you.
Hello @nantchev thanks for inviting me over to kick start your podcast, can we talk on discord or steemitchat? I think that will be a better way to communicate effectively.
I also checked out your youtube channel and you are doing a great job with a good vision
I am looking into SteemIt.Chat right now, as I have only heard about it today.
Other than that it will be over Skype and audio only. Please go here to arrange a time: https://calendly.com/adriannantchev/entrepreneur-podcast
