I commend you for doing this. One small act of kindness like this can change a persons life. I don't apply for this contest, according to my moral compass, since I won a tickets and received the funds to buy it now (even though it tempting to try to win another and use the funds for the plane flight cost :p)
Whats even more awesome is that this post made double of the cost of the ticket. So it's a good example that giving to other selflessly will always come back to the person giving two fold :)
