RE: Community Service Announcement: You Control Steem. Vote for Witnesses.

in #steemit8 years ago (edited)

I have voted only for @krnel because he is a beast in loving truth and liberty.
I might support others but currently have 29 votes to use and @inertia is not getting my support on his proxy voting for witnesses because he has yet to explain how credibility and values stemming from that aren't essential to being a witness, which I have little expectation of understanding because as it seems besides the ambiguous doesn't undermine Steem Power requirement, is this:

I'm giving my rationale based on memory rather than researching what they stand for. For me, I think it's important to be able to know who I'm voting for just by looking at their name.

Which, not to hijack your post, means all you need to do to get votes from that proxy is to show up to class.

Obviously @krnel is not on the list, which is maybe because he has only recently announced that he is running for witness.

If there are others that align with my current singular vote I will gladly consider. Smooth and Abit sure seem great options because of the initiative and abits voting of comments, but good luck with that fyrst guy, he's the last person I would support on this platform.

Thanks for sharing your views. I wonder if this thread will spin out of control as people voice who they will and will not vote for.

That could get... interesting.

Either way, I'm glad people are thinking about witness voting. I think it's important.
