Its important to vote every day and not only that but also make sure you are getting the most out of your vote and voting power. I decided to make an easy visual to give examples of the amount to use per day as related to the time it takes to regenerate in a day. I also will include a few links to places to check your voting power. Your vote rewards the post or comment you voted on with a portion of the reward pool based on your steem power and voting power.
The above visual indicates how many votes you can give related to the percentage of power on the slider. If you do not yet see the slider its because you are still new and need to gain more steem power. You can give more votes if you like but it will take more than a day to regenerate. If you do not yet have the slider, limit your votes to ten per day on the posts you like the most.

If you want to regenerate your voting power back to 100% every day try not to go under 80% voting power daily.

I'm like a lot people on here, still a long way to go until I get the slider. Since I am only using what I earn on here to increase my SP it may take some time, therefore around 10 votes per day for me.
Just keep working at it, it will happen before you know it.
That is what I am doing, it still feels like a long way off at the moment.

I have yet to discover what it takes to be successful on steemit, but I keep trying every day. I make anywhere from 10 to 45 votes per day depending on my time and type of vote. The main key is to get involved with the community and participate in contests and challenges.

Two types of votes = Comment votes and Post votes
I tend to vote more on posts but sometimes I vote more on some comments. I keep everything fluid and change often and am always looking for interesting things.
