Wow so that was an interesting day :)

We went to take the kids to school this morning, and our car tire burst on a main road in the middle of the morning rush hour.

@krystle managed to get it into a sidestreet and organised a ride with room for the kids carseats so we could get the kids to school (only a few more blocks).

I stayed with the car, and used the @steepshot app to take a pic and vent while I waited ...

I also put out a request on steemit.chat to see if I could borrow a little extra to cover a replacement tire on short notice, and @klye responded.

By the time I got home, I had a heap of nice comments, donations and a #payitforward thread from @merej99 to help raise funds :)

I'm amazed by how generous steemians are

• The tire has been replaced (it was bald and badly overdue) and we're back on the road.
