Sate Padang is the name for three types of satay variants in West Sumatra, namely Sate Padang, Sate Padang Panjang and Sate Pariaman,Sate Padang uses beef, tongue, or jerohan (with heart, intestines, and tangles) [1] with a thickened peanut sauce (like porridge) plus lots of chili to taste spicy.
Sate Padang Panjang is distinguished by its yellow sate sauce while the red Pariaman Sate is red. The taste of these two types of satay is also different. While Satay Padang has a variety of flavors of the two varieties of satay variant on top.
