How to start making money on Steemit💰

in #steemit6 years ago

Hello STEEMIANS🙂 The popularity of the Steemit platform is growing all the time. Many people count on a simple and quick way to earn money. However, we must remember that the number of users with high voting power doesn't grow so fast. This means one thing - to be noticed on Steemit will be getting harder and harder🙄

My beginning at Steemit was bad because of lack of knowledge. As a new user, I did not know how to be noticed. I tried different ways. I tried to add many posts a day. I didn't always use a good tag. As you can see this knowledge is gained over time and not everybody writes good articles from the first post. I will give you some advice on how to build your brand and how to make money on Steemit💰

✅1. Create the content of your own production. This is the basis. Always try to create your own content with your words that you will not find anywhere on the internet. Be unique. Use your own photos or those available for everyone, such as this page: https://www.pexels.com

✅2. More important than quantity is the quality of posts. I try to add one post a day and think that it is the optimal amount. Remember that everyone can cast only 10 full votes a day, so that his power will be renewed every day. Therefore, don't make many posts a day. In this way, you can lose followers.

✅3. Write about what you like, what you know and what is your passion. Forcing yourself to write, for profit is pointless. To get people interested you must show that you are good at something or that you have your passions. Show that you are unique. This is the way to success!

💡In conclusion, the earnings on Steemit will come by themselves if you create cool content. Steemit is an investment in your passions. Share them with the world🌎

This s a really great post for those of us who have no idea how to do this. I am starting with comments until I learn how to make nice posts.

Good luck :)

Also important in my opinion is to enjoy the steemit community. Money is important, but not enjoying your stay here makes it a burden

That's true, but the satisfaction gives good results.

I had being looking for a new social media platform for a while, then i came across steemit. After a bit of research i realised the potential it has. Not only as a platform but from a investment stand point as well. I think if you are looking to get your blogs noticed and establish a following of people who like your work its going to need more than good content.... its goings to need small investments here and there. Ive seen alot of really good content that doesn't get the audience it deserves. i.e making like 0.03 and a few votes, when really it should be in the hot/trending section. I think to many people are looking at steemit as a get rich quick platform when in reality you should look at it as a long term investment. the more people invest in steemit the more it will grow. which then in turn benefits everyone.

Unfortunately, good steemit content often goes unnoticed. Most of the visible posts are promoted by whales🙄

Yeah exactly, thats why i think small investments will go along way on this platform. slowly but surely become a whale yourself. Its going to take time unless you've got money to throw at steem but in the long run you can promote the really good content and give it a nudge to where it should be. i rarely even look at the trending section anymore. it's mostly just full of garbage. There is (in my opinion) alot more worthy content that deserves its place on the trending section but wont get it :(

In the Polish community, we have created a special tag in which we evaluate only articles containing a minimum of 200 words and good quality. Good authors can earn there for the quality of content.

Thats awesome. its what this platform needs. A lot of people don't do things like that. There happy to get the upvotes but dont really upvote anyone else's work.

I write mainly in my native Polish language, but I am happy to help new users and I care about the development of platform. Please, resteem this post😉

Good advice. But making real good money , you need to have someone big supporting you. Only posting good content will earn u a few cents...

I managed to earn some money without the help of whales in my native Polish language. It is a small group that is supporting one another.

Thanks you for advice... I'm newbie in steemit... I wait next post on you...

For new users not always :)

Thanks.

You're welcome. I help new users :)

Good one bro, please keep it coming...

I was completely lost on steemit, didn't know how it works at all, up until I joined Steem Schools channel on Discord, where people give you knowledge about earning money on Steemit, writing good comments and a lot of other things! But more importantly, people suppost each other to grow and win together! You may join too, here: https://discord.gg/m8H4dRS

Thank you for this post.its what i have been doing but I'm new and finding it hard to be heard..😢😥😭

Do not be sad. The beginning is the most difficult😉

Its hard not to be because i pour my soul into writing and posting and only a handful of people read it and only 1 or 2 upvote for it. It feels like im not good at it..
I just wish more senior steemians check out newbies' work..so it would not be that difficult for us and we'll also feel welcomed. 😢😳😫

If you regularly publish good content, you will succeed in time, but it will take a long time.

Sure..i will continue to strive..😉

good luck and perseverance😎

que bien ,gracias por la información lo tomare en cuenta éxito

I fully agree with what you are saying here. When I first got started I also was under the impression that cash will come quickly. Even though the content shared was my own and I'd like to believe that it was valuable, but the results from my efforts were saying the opposite.

Unfortunately this is what discourages a lot of Steemians. But as you said, with time you learn and "find" yourself. You create better content, be more consistent, and more efficient. The important thing really is to keep at it. Never give up. It starts out slowly but over time the results pay off

There's some reasonable advice here. One thing you haven't mentioned is that it's critical to engage with the community as well.

If you are engaging with people who share your passions and interests on Steemit, then your growth on this platform can be boosted dramatically.

So commenting, replying to people who engage with your posts, and finding communities of people in discord can really help progress your Steemit career.

There are a lot of things you can do to help progress your Steemit journey.

One thing I would advise against, is sending SBD or Steem to upvote bots and resteem services. They really aren't as beneficial as many think. In fact, you're more likely to lose money on an upvote bot than make money.

You sent a small sum to a couple of bots for this post, it's quite possible that you won't get all of that money back via the votes and resteems that you've received.

I know I will not get back the money spent on the bot. I do not like bots and I do not use them in my language. I just wanted to increase the visibility of the post in English.

Yep, I understand. Although it's not worth it for such a small vote. Visibility only comes with larger votes.
