Steem asset price vs quantity of spam on Steemit?

in #steemit8 years ago

Whenever you have a good amount of money you can expect quite a nice amount of trash related to it.

So, from my perspective, when a price starts going down - it is to expect that the amount of spam will also decrease in a similar manner.

I was away for a few other things to solve, both online and offline ( both turn well) and the only thing I monitor is the front page and price ticker.

Maybe it is my subjective observation, but I think the spam is cleaning out pretty well.

What do you think?

Money brings out the trolls, they want a piece of the action but don't want to work for it

that circle-jerking is still rampant

As long as there's a cent to be made, there will be spam. In fact, the lower the payout, the more copy-pasted articles will there be, as it wouldn't be worth taking a lot of time to create original content.

If whales don't upvote original and good articles, spam will always be here.
