I also noticed that there are these voting groups, I did not understand how they work, put together the steem power and then they vote among themselves.

Please note that we are in beta and may be banned in the future (and maybe be banned by steem).

The goal, on steemit, as on any other network (facebook, twitter, blog, forums) is to create its own audiece giving value to it, so that you appreciate more and more your content and remember you.

Over time, if you continue to post, technically you could attract more and more people interested in your topics (it's a natural process).

So steemit is still a good tool to create an audience and position on google.
