I will do the math later on and we can both verify this :) can you tell me why do you think its -1%?
Quick maths here: The first vote: 7.78 x 1.26 (price of sbd) = 9.8 $ (that's what I paid). I received an upvote of 9.725. 9.725 - 9.8 = - 0.075
The second vote: 1.574 x 1.26 = 1.98 (That's what I paid) and 1.952 (That's what I received). 1.952 - 1.98 = -0.028.
It's not 1%, but it's negative
OK, here's the thing - 9.725 is not in US dollars. Those are STUs. They should be equal to SBD but because SBD is not woth 1 USD, it's more complicated.
So even though you see $ sign next to your post payout, this is not US Dollar. Basically it is a mix of SBD and STEEM POWER and sometimes liquid STEEM.
Anyway, 9.725 STUs are worth around 11.16 USD.
So $9.8 -> $11.16
About +14% profit.
