SILENCE IN THE FACE OF GENOCIDE IS NOT AN OPTION!
Although the United Nations has designated the Rohingya as one of the most persecuted minorities in the world, this community continues to be subjected to a systematic genocide in Myanmar by the authorities in Burma because of their affiliation to the Muslim religion.
Hundreds of them have spent recent months drowning in the ocean to try to escape from massacres, acts of abuse, rape, burning and slaughtering of identity.
The world that watches these horrific massacres that have not excluded children has not stirred up the pressure on the fascist authorities in Burma.
The Rohingyas are located in the Arakan region west of Burma, Myanmar on the Indian Ocean. The word Rohinga refers to Ruhang, the name of the ancient state of Arakan. Rohingya is spoken to the indigenous citizens of Arakan, occupied by Myanmar. A free, independent Islamic society in Southeast Asia that continued to exist for several centuries before it occupied Burma, ruled by a Buddhist majority in 1784, and later became one of the 14 provinces and provinces of the Union of Burma, currently Myanmar.
Geographically, Arakan is located in the southwest of Myanmar on the coast of the Bay of Bengal and the border with Bangladesh. The territory is about 50,000 square kilometers, or about 10 percent of Myanmar.
The population of the Arakan region is about 5.5 million, the proportion of Muslims is 90%, of which 2 million live in Myanmar, while the others have emigrated because of the persecution practiced by the state against them.
Myanmar's Muslims come from different origins such as Bengali, Arabs, Moro, Turks, Persians, Mongols and Albanians, most of whom resemble the people of the Indian continent in form and color.
Since the fall of the Arakan State, several massacres have been committed against them, amounting to more than twenty large massacres, the largest of which was the massacre of more than 100,000 Muslim Rohingyas in 1942, Forcing the Muslims to flee from the Burmese oppression.
Since then, the Buddhist majority has not stopped killing Muslims in Arqan, which was originally an Islamic kingdom. They have carried out many acts of "genocide" and "genocide" against the Muslim population.
Two years ago, the President of Burma approved a law limiting births within Muslim families, in parallel with the displacement of Muslims in Myanmar and the systematic settlement of Buddhist families by the authorities.
"Definitely Rohingays are human beings and they should never be denied of the basic human rights. The matter should be looked into with a humanistic approach rather than as a narrow political or national problem. Like many others I also strongly opine that violation of human rights is unfair and unacceptable in a civilised world".

Its really depressing that in the year 2017, the human race can't find out to solve problems in a peaceful way. This is probably a repetition of what happened in the "yugoslavian war" in the 1990 th. Haven't we learned anything or is it because somebody want it that way? Where there is a conflict there is always money to make. I'm sadn't
Yugoslavian war was just not enough (I'm born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia - now shitty Serbia), but there was also need for "Merciful Angel" operation by Nato in 1999 to finish up what was started in early 90's. You can't erase memories. What now those people in Myanmar are experiencing... There is no God or Belief that will help them, rather but OTHER HUMAN FORCE, STRONGER AND MORE RIGHTFUL. But... Yes, humanity reached point which is beyond return for its existence.
Cheers for following up the history of minorities during a period when google was not around :)
You got yourself new follower.
Luci.
Yes u r right. It's depressing
Genocide and raping and cutting open kids left for dead is not the same. I know it hits the rate of genocide, but it's far from it. Myanmar should be invaded by NATO and UN, slaughtered properly whoever shows resistance and save those poor people that has nothing. Unfortunately nor NATO or UN has any profit from just 50k sqm and 5.5 m population, where only 2.2m is limit of genocide, so they will not interfere.
We deserve to vanish as civilization! Mayas and fucking Greeks were greater humans than we will ever be.
Lucifer.
Yes... bitter reality...sadly.

An unjust law is itself a species of violence. Arrest for its breach is more so.

Latest worrying update is, Myanmar and Bangladesh is approaching with the plan to return Rohingya to Myanmar, without any measure of protection and related basic needs of human rights in place. more worrying is, ASEAN members looks like not have any objection about, Indonesia envoy statement on Jakartapost feb 14 even worst, "no evidence of Rohingya mass grave".
