It depend how we think and it vary person to person. If we keep following people randomly having no common area of interest, then at a certain point of time we will feel like flooded with irrelevant and waste information. Which gradually loose our interest in steemit. But if we follow people with common interest, then we will feel knowledgeable and get benefited by reading their blogs. This will make us feel like utilizing out time in steemit not just trying to make money.

So I feel before following anyone we should look at the posts they shared and how then react on others posts.
Others may think differently however we can discuss more on this.
