4 Years From Today You'll Have Over $150,000 US - Worst Case Scenario - If You Keep Posting, Commenting and Curating Daily

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Would you believe me if I tell you, 4 years from today, you will have over $150,000 USD if you keep posting one post per day, commenting and curating, even if all of that wouldn't bring you more than just 0.100 Steem Power daily?

Money Suitcase

Yeah, you heard me right, only 0.100 Steem Power daily and on July 23rd, 2021 you'll have over $150K.
Don't believe me? Keep reading!

But, before I tell you what you need to achieve that, let me tell you what you don't need!

Divider

To Earn $150K On Steemit In A Four Years Starting From Today, You DON'T NEED

- to be the most famous author on Steemit
- to have thousands of followers

Can you believe it? Probably not! Keep reading then!

Divider

What DO You NEED To Earn $150K On Steemit In A Four Years Starting From Today?

  1. One decent post per day, 100% Powered Up! Meaning, own original content of about 300 - 500 words (or more), even better if with a photo (but photo which is free to use for commercial purposes from e.g. Pexels or some similar site).
  2. Few (10 - 20) meaningful comments for other author's articles you feel like commenting.
  3. Few (10 - 20) votes (curation) given for articles and authors you enjoyed to read!

How is that possible?

As first, with every of above listed three actions, you are earning. Second, only 0.100 Steem Power which is only 1/10 of 1 whole Steem Power is a ridiculous minimum you can achieve, in fact, only by accomplishing only one of above. But to stay on the safe side and for worst case scenario, let's say you need all three.

All the rest is pure mathematics!

For the sake of argument, let's assume that you have arrived at Steemit today and you don't have a single Steem Power.
(Although we both know certain amount has been allocated to you just for signing up. At the time of this writing, it's about 25 or something Steem Power.)
So, you are starting from total ZERO!

Let's also assume, for the sake of the worst case scenario, that all of your actions (posting, commenting and voting/curation) will be paid on Day 7 (as the post payment dues on the seventh day). Meaning, first 6 days your Steem Power would remain at zero.

If this first week wouldn't discourage you and you would still be on Steemit, here comes the first change you were looking for.

  • Day 7 - Your first payment from Day 1 arrives, and now you have 0.100 Steem Power
  • Day 8 - Your second payment from Day 2 arrives, and now you have 0.200 Steem Power
  • Day 9 - Your third payment from Day 3 arrives, and now you have 0.300 plus 0.6% interest for the Steem Power you were holding for 1 day which is 0.001 Steem Power, what means your total is now 0.301 Steem Power
  • Day 10 - Your forth payment from Day 4 arrives, and now you have 0.401 and again plus 0.6% interest for the Steem Power you were holding for another 1 day which is 0.002 Steem Power, so your total is 0.403 Steem Power
  • Day 11 - by using the same calculation your total Steem Power would be 0.505 Steem Power
  • Day 12 - total Steem Power is 0.608 Steem Power
  • Day 13 - total Steem Power is 0.711 Steem Power
  • Day 14 - total Steem Power is 0.815 Steem Power

Divider

2 Weeks for just 0.815 Steem Power which is only about $1.30 at the moment?

Yes! But, this is worst case scenario! And this is just first 14 days of total 1462 days where your $150,000 is waiting for you! Remember? Besides, if you divide those $150K with 1462 days, you will find out that each day you have invested here by following 3 simple steps brought you over $100 per day, in fact.

Even bigger questions are

What if you can make (and you can) more than just 0.100 Steem Power per day?

What if 4 years from today 1 STEEM wouldn't worth just $1.68 (as it worths today at the time of this writing), but let's say $10?

Can you imagine, in that case, your accumulated (about) 100,000 Steem Power wouldn't worth just $150,000 but $1 million ($1,000,000), what means you've earned, in fact, over $680 each day, starting from today?

By knowing that now, the key question for you is:

Would you invest an hour or two of your precious time on Steemit to go through those 3 easy steps and reach that goal?

From my point of view, only one thing may stop you.
Divider

Only laziness can stop you!

Yes, that's right, only laziness accompanied with lack of persistence and just seemingly discouraging small start my stop you. Nothing else!

I know, you might say, 4 years is a long period for such a commitment, but let me ask you this.
How many years have you already spent on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Pinterest or what ever social network for nothing?

For own sake, I hope you would embrace this opportunity and take that road to wealth!

Walking the road

absolutly true. I have been always saying that, but could not put as well you did.
you got yourself a new follower :

Step by step closer to a million :)

Right! 👍 🙂

Very compelling post @ana-maria. I am just on my 3rd day of posting, so I am learning so much. I have seen a lot of people saying that only the established people will make any cash worthwhile, so your post was very encouraging!!

Thank you very much, @sallykwitt! 🙂 I'm really glad if it would keep you going!

To be honest, I thought so too for a long time (that "only the established people will make any cash worthwhile"). But it's not true! OK, established members would always have higher possibility to earn more and quicker, but that also might change through time because of some new kids on the block that would also become 'established' through time. The beauty of Steemit is that that new kid on the block could be you or me, both of us, or anyone else.

Being here almost a year by now, I also had my ups and downs, giving ups and returning backs. As well, through all that time the platform was changing, developing and growing, but also being through some 'less good times' overcoming obstacles and mistakes.
Steemit is a 'living organism' in constant change, from the beginning, and in its essence created the way that it might always be changed, developed and improved by contribution and ideas of any individual or group of individuals! - That's its basic beauty and advantage.

So, what I'm talking now it's something that I tried, checked and tested, and what's currently valid and actual.

All the best, sincerely
Ana-Maria

it is like a living organism, and like always, it will be interesting to see what the next few months bring. thanks for your post, intriguing

Looks nice but where did you get the daily 0.6% interest rate info from. I am so bad in math.
It's says 0 in my wallet, it used to be more last year.
I am here since June 2016 and I am not one of the superstars but I did quite well so far.
Nice to meet you Ana!

Thank you for your comment, @mammasitta! Unfortunately, daily interest is not 0.6% as I thought. It's way lower. Where I found it and what my newest findings are you may see in my Follow Up Post.

Loading...

That's such a great information @ana-maria. I didn't know that SP in our account is accumulating some interest for us. Thanks a lot for putting light on this. I just checked FAQ and found that "STEEM tokens that are powered up to STEEM Power earn a small amount of interest for holding.". Can you please let me know from where did you find this 0.6% figure? I wasn't able to spot it.

Also, going by that calculation, I have currently 73.537 SP in my account. So, even if I don't do anything, will it be roughly half a million in 4 years from now accumulating the compound interest? That's bit hard to digest! 😀😀😀

Wow! I wish that happens, but is unbelievable. I mean, there are so many number of steemitians, will everyone be a millionaire?

No, apparently not everyone is going to be a millionaire. The developers changed the algorithm and here you may find my newest findings.

Well, the truth is that SP in our account accumulates some interest, but not 0.6% daily (or at least not as much anymore).
More about it, you may find in my Follow Up Post where I explain more about how, where from, why and how much at the moment.

This is exactly the wrong way to endure the four years.

Thats right! if you can just save up $1000 in steempower, then in just a year or two when steem is up to $1000 then you will have 41 million dollars! and steem WILl hit $10 then $100 then $1000 it WILL hit $1000 just look at bitcoin going from a fraction of a penny like $00.000001 all teh way to $3000 a 3 million percent increase in value so a 1000% increase is childs play for cryptos! its toitally doable in the next fw years! I honestly belive we can end the summer at 410 and the year at $100 steem wil be unaffected by other cryptos movements we will b seperate because of how many poeople we will have!

steem wil bcome the b;oclchaion that could! the lil b;ockchain that could! we iwll explode and be bigger thajn bitcoin showing the first real application for a blockchain and how it can allow someone to even compte with giants as big as facebook! so next peopel will take the blokchain and apply it toi Amazon andf shipping and sho[pinG! omg did anyone ever realize that amazon does Shiping and Shop[ping and the I and O and IO lik on and off so yeah we should then conqwuer Google and ISPs and make Blockchain ISP satelite lauicnh with spaceX of opur OWN internet cube sats and launch SO many of em that you can get free wifi from anywhere on earth THAt would help anyone get online and alow steemit tio REALY grow! the global economy would dpouble overnight if EVERYONE had freeinternet!

Intrest.png

Looking in my wallet it is showing a current interest rate of 0%. I do remember getting an interest payment or two way back in March or so. But nothing since. Back then it said something like 1.3%. And it was NOT on SP but rather on SBD.

Dear @troyvandeventer, you must be mixing something as this what I'm talking about doesn't have anything to do with our Steem Dollars or even less with our Savings (that you showed from your Wallet screenshot).

But, I will tell you right away how you may check what I'm talking about.

I would just kindly ask you NOT to Redeem any new rewards that would come your way in next 24 hours (just to be able to see it even better).
Although it could already be seen. 😉

Your screenshot shows (at the time of taking it, what was 2 hours ago) that you have 211.208 Steem Power.
Now, when I checked it already raised and current stats are 211.209 SP (0.001 more than 2 hours ago, having in mind that you didn't redeem anything in the meantime, what is also very important to prove my case).

So, your current total is 211.209 SP and I checked that at 10:15 pm (UTC+2).

If you are not going to redeem any new rewards for the next 24 hours (just leave them in that greeny box for that time) - you will see that, tomorrow at exact same time (10:15 pm (UTC+2) - your SP wallet would be in total of 212.476 SP.
In other words, 1.267 Steem Power more than you are currently holding.
What is exactly 0.6% daily interest that we receive for keeping our earnings in Steem Power.

If you agree to participate in this proving/checking experiment, and tomorrow after the 24 hours pass, you are going to Redeem for the first time your (in the meantime accumulated) rewards it would be added to your new 212.476 SP total, and day after tomorrow evening your SP interest would show additional 0.6% interest calculated on (212.476 + Redeemed amount).

I hope this would clarify to you the whole thing. 🙂

Thanks for the clarification.

Any time! Glad if it helped! 🙂

Hey @ana-maria, looks like this calculation has a flaw somewhere. It is more than 24 hours after posting that comment so as per your opinion @troyvandeventer's SP should have been 212.476 but it is currently 211.224 only. It surely has increased but not by the rate of 0.6%. What's your take on this?

Yes, you are right. The rate of 0.6% is not valid anymore, and it turned out it was only for few first months upon launch of the platform. Not to repeat myself all over again, please take a look at my Follow Up Post.

The post made me giggle but I enjoyed it. I did what you are saying in less than a year so I know it is possible.

@hilarski by the strict contest rules, you are not allowed to participate in this 'contest' or 'proof check' as this is the worst case scenario. 😁😜
I'll call you right away when I'm going to post best case scenario! 😉🙂

But you are allowed to giggle as much as you want! 🙃 😁🙃

P.S.
Now, seriously! Thank you very much for your comment and support! 🙂

Looking forward to all those other posts you mentioned here. Particularly the best case scenario! I like to dream big.

LOL - Well, although I also like to dream big, I would rather stick with "worst case scenarios" as if that works or might be compelling enough, all above that would be great! 😉

@hilarski Nice! But you also had the benefit of the very low price and small community with therefore more Steem in average for everyone. I am not sure if that is actually correct, please tell me otherwise. Of course the same could happen on a larger scale again (and hopefully will). I also assume that you accumulated more than 0.1 Steem each day.

Thats a good way for people to stay motivated. I have been posting and curating nearly daily for a year as of next week. It's been a slow grind just like you described, but as already added up. :-)

Yeah, I also think the first year is the hardest especially if a member is not among more popular authors.
In fact, in my "worst case scenario" where average daily earnings increase only by 0.100 SP - first 2 years are the worst as everything goes very slowly.

When a member reaches the amount of 1,000.000 (one thousand) SP then things start to roll much faster. In fact, extremely faster!

In other words, in my above-presented calculation and example, it takes 2 years from zero to 1,000 SP but it also takes 2 years from 1,000 to 100,000 SP.

Well, I certainly don't consider myself a popular author, but I rack up 10k SP after one year so sounds like I am in great shape if I keep on grinding. Thanks for the motivation :-)

Thank you very much for your understanding and support, @scaredycatguide.
I must admit that I'm sorry now that I wasn't more active at the beginning (as I'm also here about 11 months already).
But if I take that mistake as a good lesson and new starting point, who knows where I would be at this time next year. 😉

Hi @ana-maria, thanks for bringing this inspirational information to my attention. I was not aware of the 0.6% daily. Interesting!

I did some digging myself after reading your post and I came across this article: https://steemit.com/interest/@bacchist/steem-power-interest-is-not-compound-interest

The article basically states that there is no compounded interest on Steemit (so, no interest over interest). I am a bit confused now. You clearly spend a lot of time on your post. Can you help me clarify things? Thanks!

Thanks for sharing that link @cryptotem. The post and comments on it give in-depth detail about how steemit works in terms of steem power. It looks like there is no compound interest but we also can not rule the fact out that SP accumulates interest. It is clearly mentioned in FAQ. Instead of compound it might be simple interest.

That is true. Since the article is quite old I am not sure of its validity today and hoped someone is here to clarify and really did in-depth research :-)

The funny thing is that you can't really get anyone to clarify it openly and in depth.
After I've made some more research and came up with new findings (unfortunately not so bright) which I explained in my Follow Up Post, I can't get rid of the feeling that some mysterious veil is still covering what's really going on.

Great follow up post :-)

Thank you very much, @cryptotem! Appreciated a lot! 🙂

Here is my response article for this post. Thanks for pointing to that link. I have included it in my article with due credit to you.

It seems the guy was visionary when he said it wouldn't happen. In other words, such high daily interest maybe existed a year ago (for few months upon the Steemit launch), but not anymore.
More details about it, and what changes as well as why you may find in my Follow Up Post to this one.

Thank you very much, @dropahead! - Appreciated a lot! 🙂

great motivation thanks @ana-maria ! :D

Well written post. It does rely on the value of steem not crashing but it certainly shows the value of sticking with the platform and contributing consistently.

Thank you, @gouch for getting my point!

thanks for help valuable information.great post

This is great...soo nicely explained. Thanks ana

Very well put to encourage us! Thanks!! :)

You are welcome, @jamisa! 🙂 I would be really happy if it would of some help to others!

BTW - sometimes, I have to remind myself of those facts to keep myself going too! 😉

Pretty encouraging post. Let's hope that the platform stays around for that time and the value is pumping every year:) I'm just 1 week in and excited as hell. It way more fun than fb or instagram, you earn some money and the community is great. What's your advice on topics to write about? Same your post on #welovesteemit

Thank you, @justdentist! 🙂 BTW - the point is, even if the value wouldn't go up and stays the same, you can have $150K at the end of the 4th year, with zero investment and just 0.100 Steem Power earnings per day (if you don't spend it in meantime 😉, but keeping it in Steem Power to accumulate compound interest). But, more about it in my next post.

Regarding the topic, I would have only one advice! - Write about something or everything you love, are interested in, intrigued with, etc. In other words anything you are passionate about.
Nothing can bring and grab the attention of your readers and follower more than your passionate energy about a certain topic (no matter which one it is).

Good stuff , and a good long term game plan for newbies. I hit that uovote fo sho!

Thank you very much, @broncnutz! 🙂 - Glad, you like it!

I'm still not 100% sure how owning steempower allows us to earn more steem etc but your article makes a lot of sense; I see it as a fantastic way to drive people who have always wanted to write but couldn't find the motivation to.

The community already on steemit, plus the ease of posting, plus the fact that every activity comes with rewards.

I think that's definitely enough motivation to push any wannabe-writer into action!

How owning Steem Power allows us to earn more Steem is, in fact, an easy to answer one.
I started replying and explaining, but then I saw it's another whole article. Therefore, instead of posting it here in comments I'll make a new article.
So, stay tuned, 😉 you would be amazed as it's really very simple and easy to understand!

AWESOME, I shall stay tuned to that!

Thank you for your very informative post. I will start following it :)

Thank you, @hellovely. 🙂 Truly happy if it would be of some use to you!

that's insane! thanks for letting me know!

You are welcome, @jwolf! 🙂

Great post! You mentioned that a post should have 300-500 words or more. Many of my posts are bird videos, should I be writing that many words with a video? I have been here only 3 weeks and some of my posts have gotten a little traction, but others almost nothing. One other thing I'm not sure about, does commenting on posts lower your voting power? Thanks

From my point of view and how things go here on Steemit, just posting a video and 'run away' wouldn't do much good to you in terms of earnings.
If you want just to post the video, you can do it on YouTube, Vimeo or similar where anything else or more isn't expected. Right?

300-500 words articles are bare minimum which I mentioned exactly because of the authors like you are - photographers, film and video makers, and some other artists.

I really can't be your judge, even less some grand jury, but I would suggest you to wrap your nice photos and videos in some short 300 words story. Tell us:

  • where did you take them and why
  • how do you take them (where you had to go, how long does it take, what kind of preparation was needed, how long did you waited for the right shot, what happen in between, etc.)
  • what they represent in general and what they mean to you
  • why they are specific, what differs one photo or video from the other (previous or following) one

In other words, intrigue us and feed our curiosity! 😉

As well, have in mind that #photography is very popular on Steemit. That also means the competition is quite high. Therefore, it's even more important to find an own unique expression that would highlight your posts and set them apart (in a positive way) from the others.

Search a bit around also the tags #photo, #video, #macro and some other related to your field.
See how others are doing it. Join some photo challenges that goes around to get notified and gain more followers. Take a look how @sardrt is doing it. I like her photos very much.

Regarding Comments & Voting

Only voting lowers your voting power! Nothing else!
In other words, you may comment almost all day long and as much as you wish, at least until you spend all your Bandwith (what I doubt you would). But even if you spend it, it would recover same as your Voting power is always recovering heading to reach again 100%.

Very well explained @ana-maria. Have a question ..Do we get interest on the steem power as you mentioned.. didn't know that.

Yes, we do! - I'll make a post about it soon with more details, so stay tuned! 😉

I am also interested in that. I researched that topic and I didn#t find anything or controversial opinions. The only number I heard is 10% per year but apparently that is incorrect as far as I know.

I also heard many controversial opinions or even claims, but I also found this old Steem Power Interest Calculator on which I based my article a lot, plus some of my own calculations.

Now, I'm rechecking it all over again, so maybe my follow-up article would have to wait for another one day more.

I really hope you are right but somehow that would be crazy because quickly there would be higher numbers than there are stars in the universe with this kind of growth and I doubt that any investor would agree to put money into a scheme like that. So for the sake of a healthy Steemit I hope it is wrong and for the sake of my bank account I hope it is right. Anyhow, I am still watching my Steem Power. Tonight at midnight CST I will know the answer from my own observation. Here is a screenshot from last night for later proof:

SteemPower-interest.jpg

I am afraid and releaved at once: the calculation is wrong but there was some daily interest. I leave the math to others for now.

2017-07-25.jpg

Yes, you are right the interest is not 0.6% and accordingly the whole calculation is wrong.

I laughed a lot when I read...

for the sake of a healthy Steemit I hope it is wrong and for the sake of my bank account I hope it is right.

... as I was thinking the same. 🙂

I can't help but think there must be a trap somewhere. Don't get me wrong I loved your post and I plan on keep going but I find it hard to believe that steemit.com is going to produce so many millionaires

hahahahahaha - Your comment really made me laugh! 🙂

Although, being a suspicious mind myself, for now, I can only tell you that I didn't find that trap. 🙂

As well, don't worry about "so many millionaires that Steemit.com is going to produce."
It would be nice if it does, but it wouldn't, simply because 90% of people are too lazy and this is not some 'set it and forget it' system. It really takes persistent, continuous dedication!

Only few would pass that road all the way through. Some would give up almost before they begun (we have already seen that). The others, mostly get-rich-quick-scheme-hunters would give up after a short while when they realize that Steemit is not ex. TSU, current Instagram, Rabadaba or similar where you can post one photo or video and that's it. Next group that would give up are copy-pasters as they would also sooner or later be faced with penalties that posting copyrighted content brings with itself. Unfortunately, the list goes on.

Therefore, don't worry and be happy, keep posting and remain active as it's the only way to avoid the only existing trap called giving up! 😉

Voila!!!

LOL - it would be nice if it would work that way here too, but somehow I'm not so sure anymore.

Good article, I recently joined steemit but I also tried to learn a lot, can you show me how to make money most effective?

Good! Then let me first welcome you to Steemit! 🙂

Most effective way to make money on Steemit is, as first posting quality ORIGINAL content and being active by voting and commenting other author's articles, as well as replying on the comments that other members leave under your posts.

I would say, it's the crucial base. All the rest is more or less individual modifications and fine tunes.

Second best 'trick' is to stay persistent and post regularly.

*(If you take just a quick look on some of the replies I gave here, under this post, answering some other members question, you may find few tips more. For the rest, just take a look around, search a bit for some Steemit tutorial - there many of them - and find your way on Steemit. 😉
From time to time I also post some tips and tricks, or findings like this post is, so stop by once in a while.)

Wow very well written post and very motivational as well. I have found the post by a re-steem but i am really glad i found it. Now i do have to ask you one question and it's about the mathematical part of the blog. You mention about 0.100 Steem Power a day over the 4 years (1462 days) so that will bring a person to 146.20 Steem Power at the end so how this can worth so much money. I am new here (a little bit over one month) and i don't know all the technical parts and i will be very interested to know how you reach that number in usd. Thanks a lot and have a great day!

The shortest answer to your question is if you keep your earnings in Steem Power and not withdrawing it during following 4 years, you earn 0.6% daily interest on the amount you keep in Steem Power.

That means, the amount I received (which shocked me too, BTW) is not the pure product of 0.100 x 1462 days = 146.20 Steem Power.

It's 0.100 SP daily + compound daily interest of 0.6% for the total amount kept in Steem Power.

Take a look at the above article again, under the "All the rest is pure mathematics!" paragraph and see Day 9 and Day 10 again. I explained that there, but it apparently slipped aside from your attention for some reason.

Never the less, I will explain that in more detail in my next article, as you are not the only one who was confused with that part. 🙂
So, stay tuned! 😉

Yes i did miss the part with the daily interest of 0.6% for the total amount keept in Steem Power. This is crazy honest to be... crazy in a good way don't get me wrong. As i told you i am new here and slowly slowly learning about all this "technical things". Well keep the blogs coming as i am following you!

Thank you, @georgemales! - And yes, this is crazy good! 😁
I'll try to post ASAP although my real life obligations are squeezing my Steemit time heavily, lately.

You are welcome! Don't worry my real life obligations are doing the same thing when it comes to Steemit and spending time here... but looks like i always find some time to post! :)

LOL - Then you are better than me! 🙂

Other market forces such as the value of Bitcoin and perceived reputation of cryptocurrency may also drive the price.

Of course, I think we all count on that too! 🙂

Well written, I can see so many possibilities with steem.
I just hope that Steem will be more quality oriented, than profit oriented. That could make it very valuable, even if it doesn't become mainstream.
Time will tell. Eventually we can come back to this post 4 years ago and compare. Good luck never give up.
Cheers

Thank you very much for your comment, @khaaaarl. - I think Steemit already is more if not even completely quality oriented. You would hardly find a poor post here that gained many (if any) valuable vote. Mainly, they hang out there almost unnoticed with lots of zeros under their articles when we talk about earnings.

For the rest, I can agree with you - "the time will tell." 🙂

And good that you remind me, I would really have to bookmark this post so I can find it easy, as it would be truly fun to see it from that 4 years far away perspective. 👍🙂

I agree with you on this one...

I've chosen to specifically post non steem and non cryptocurrency related content because that's the only way regular people are going to adopt the ecosystem.

Unfortunately, couldn't avoid the tag if I wanted to share my findings with proper tagging as much as it was possible.

I partly disagree. It is a fascinating topic and any newcomer is so shocked by the possibilities that they often want to digest Steem/Steemit topics. And there are other great categories which also get plenty of upvotes. I am filling a crazy small niche here and I do get pretty decent upvotes for someone being here only for six weeks. I am very happy about that. You should scan the trending topics page. There is so much good stuff that gets good upvotes. I don't think that a newcomer is missing good content that is unrelated to Steem.

That's true, I do have most of my numbers from Randowhale and Booster and therefore I am merely reinvesting my Steem Dollars in upvotes to get a few SBD in the process while my investment is locked away for up to a week. That is not a good system. But Even without the bots I am making a few bucks and I am also happy for those. Thats more than I made in ten years of blogging combined. Nevertheless I would be happy about more whales sharing the love. :)

Good way to motivate people, I know I am even more motivated to keep it up now. Thanks for the great post!

Thanks, @ptmikesteem! Yeah, it turns out to be some kind of motivation post although it wasn't my initial intention.
It was more because I had a feeling lots of people missing the opportunity as at the beginning it's hard to see the big picture. You know the saying about the one tree that blocks the view so you can't see the whole forest.

I had the exact feeling for many members here, just because they can't imagine even less see the pure logic or mathematical formula by which this zero-point-something could turn in such a big numbers as I explained in my post, with zero investment and just a small effort.
I wanted to show and reveal that! 🙂

Enjoyed your post in like your math I believe you are right because I think that the fact were in any type of cryptocurrency is going to pay off and we're making friends in here and having fun those are and added😎 bonus😍

Thank you very much for the comment, @rebeccabe!

I can only add that I tested it, checked, and observed it for some time. 😉
I only wouldn't agree that any type of cryptocurrency has that extra compound interest possibility. The majority of them work in a way - you buy them, and then you wait that they raise in value (if they raise).

Here, as first, you don't have to buy anything! - Huge difference!
Second, my essential math calculation (for reaching the goal of $150K in 4 years from now) is based on current Steem price (without any possible growth of the coin value). Only that already makes a huge difference in comparison with other currencies, as well as with other paying platforms available out there.

All of that even more, if the price of STEEM coin goes up (what very likely would), the earning outcome (presented in my scenario) may be much bigger or even mind blowing. Just as an example I said $1 million if one Steem reaches the value of $10.
But what if it reaches $20, $40 or even $100. Quite possibly if you take a look at Litecoin or even Ethereum, both of which are not backed by the community or even less with the platform like this one is. Where would they be if they are? 😉
Besides, STEEM is much younger coin than any of those two are. That also counts! 🙂

Love your post!

This is what most people don't get. Opportunities are everywhere! The problem with most people is that they want the instant gratification. Especially when it comes to money.

You pretty much laid it all out and I believe it 100%. Unfortunetly, people won't see the big bucks as soon as they hoped and they will leave. So sad :(

But for me... I'm sticking to it! LET'S GOOOOOOOOOOO!

Right! Let's goooooooooo! 🙂

I shared this link on my facebook page you are right even if people just spent 30% of the social media time participating in the Steemit ecosystem they would give them selves the opportunity to maybe be early adaptors to a future social media unicorn.... Thanks for the post .... I'm gonna make an effort to stay involved with Steemit . The whale games kinda soured me on the platform when it launched last year.

Thank you very much for the Facebook share, @poias. 🙂

Regarding some previous times here (especially for those of us about 1-year-old Steemians), I think we all have been through same or similar phase/s or because of some changes, or development obstacles (or even mistakes), whale game or what so ever.
I also had a few pauses just to save my nerves. 😉

Very interesting. Thanks for working out all the maths! you have put it into a clear perspective and that this is a long term thing. Time flies and before we know it will be 4 years away and hopefully the Steem price will be much more.

That's right, it's a long run "game" (almost like a marathon - LOL) and definitively not some 'Get-Rich-Quick-Scheme' that, unfortunately, the majority is seeking for.

But even for those hard working long run "players" those peanuts at the beginning might seem worthless and discouraging.
It took me also some time to figure it out and see the bigger picture.

Good post. Thanks for sharing such a valuable information about steemit and how one can benefited from it. Upvoted followed please don't forget to do me the same. Have a great day.

So to sum up! you want to say that the Consistency and Steadiness are the keys to success here! :-)
Upvoted and Resteemed

Exactly! 👍 Accompanied with original content. 😉

That is amazing thank you for sharing! Whata great motivator! Im resteeming this to all my followers so they can get grinding to get there 150k! Thank you again for sharing the info!

You are very welcome, @koolpick! 🙂

Good post @ana-maria it gave me motivation to keep posting and commenting. You are so right on how many of us have a Facebook page and post almost every day. I will be following you so keep up posting. Follow me @nayramix

Thank you, @nayramix! I'm glad if it brought some light and optimism. 🙂
And don't neglect the part (in this post) which says also posting quality original content, articles with at least 300-500 words.
I can't emphasize enough how important that is for success on Steemit.

I love how you are thinking. Steem on!

Many thanks, @rubenalexander! 🙂

I like your optimistic perspective. And it does make sense. I can see how it would add up

Thank you, @dreamingirwin although it's far more pessimistic perspective than optimistic, to be honest! 🙂

This is motivating a lot 😉 4 years is a long term however you might just absolutely right 😁

Thank you very much, @sidney007! Believe me, it's not only motivating it's really possible even if with the tiniest steps as I show in my article example (only 0,100 SP per day).
By taking a very quick sneak peek over your account, I can see that you already started that journey! Just don't give up! Keep going! It's worthy! 🙂

Well.... u have calculated only first 14 days,. can u explain how it'll go after 14 days to the 4 year plan ? i love to accept your claims but i still m not sure that what you r saying is right.. i think one need to get a good jump between normal post to make that happen.. anyway its still good motivation...

Well... if you read my post carefully enough you would see that I explained the formula how this is calculated.
So, you can't be serious 😱 to really expect me to list down whole 1462 days?! 😉

(Therefore, please, take a closer look at Day 9 and Day 10 - where I explained everything). 🙂

Interesting take on the long-run looking aspect of using this site. Where's your math? I'm curious how you get your final amount of 100,000 Steem Power earned over 1462 Days.

Please, take a closer look once again on Day 9 and Day 10 - I explained there the formula how all these are calculated.
If you put the formula and numbers in any spreadsheet, all the way through to the 1462nd day - that's what you will get (few SP plus-minus). 😉😊

So you're saying our Steem Power gains 0.6% interest every 3 days, or just on the first 3rd day?

She is saying there is an interest of 0.6% EVERY DAY. The calculations starts on day three because you need to hold your money for a day to get the interest. On day one you earn it, on day two you hold it and on day three you get your interest for day one.

NO - what I'm saying, and if they don't change it in the meantime, our daily interest is 0.6%.

In my above presentation, if you started with zero - any percentage of interest the next day would be zero.
If your 1st day earning is only 0.100 SP, 0.6% of that amount is 0.0006 SP.
As SP is shown only with 3 decimal places the interest of 0.0006 wouldn't be shown on the 2nd day. But if you earned additional 0.100 SP on Day 2 that makes a total of 0.200 SP you would be holding.
Therefore, on a 3rd day, your daily interest would be 0.0012 SP calculated on your 0.200 SP total, meaning your new total would be 0.201 + whatever you have earned (by voting, commenting and curating) in the previous (due) day.
Upon that newest total will be calculated the interest for your 4th day, and so on...

I also believe this will happen in the near future^^ great post!

Thank you, @larutanton! 🙂

Love the engagement in your comments. I find that having thoughtful responses to everyone who comments always helps everyone feel more connected with the author. It goes a long long way!

Hmmmm... Didn't think about it that way. For me, it's more a question of manners or maybe the way how I was raised.
However, that's the great point too!

And of course, thank you for the comment and for stopping by! 🙂

Great post! The math is easy to do, but we will need is action.

It's easier than you think, just do it :)

Thank you very much for your encouraging and supportive words, @rtdcs! 🙂
