Hey Steemit, I'm New! | 1st Post(Complete Newbie)

Hello Steemit!!

I live in Canada(TO specifically) and this is my first post of 2018.

As I begin this adventure, I would like to let you all know that I am completely new here and have absolutely no idea what I'm doing. To be perfectly honest, I actually first heard about this platform about a year ago and got(ok, read) some really bad advice about how to find content to post(private label rights articles that have been spun or re-written anyone?). Since I don't really consider myself a writer with anything important, interesting, smart, witty, funny or particularly valuable to say, I decide to give that method a try.. and what happened? Well, on my very first (spun)post, I got a comment about possible non-original content(yikes!), did not want to get in trouble doing something that was not allowed, logged out, and never thought about Steemit again. For a whole year.

Then I heard about it again about a week ago(out of the blue), decided to see if my login still worked, and to my surprise, it did!

I still worry that I will not be able to come up with good enough things to post, but having spent some time on here recently, reading some of your articles/comments/replies, etc., I can see that there is a wide range of subjects, opinions and trending topics to choose from and write about, and I feel now that maybe I too, might possibly have something to say. The truth is, I may not be an 'expert' on one specific subject, but I sure know at least a little bit about lots and lots of things(as everyone does). So I will post what I know, a little every day, and hope that's enough.

I will also tell you that I will probably never reveal any real details about myself like name, age, etc.(although I may eventually, never know), but I will try to tell you a little bit about who I am, what I like, the things that interest me, etc. etc.

And I promise to be polite, professional, and not too opinionated, because I don't think these types of platforms should be for pushing any kind of agenda, being sarcastic(unless in a lighthearted joking manner), or casting judgment on other people's views.

Nice to meet you! I am feeling kind of pumped and inspired about the community I have found here, I welcome any advice or tips you might have and I look forward to meeting you all, through our daily words, posts and comments to each other.. :)
