Keep Posting, You're an Early Adaptor: Think Long-term Investment

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Hey y'all.

I wanted to make this video because I've noticed that a lot of people have stopped posting or are posting a lot less frequently because of the prices...but I wanted to share some of my views and encourage people to keep posting and remember that your still an early adaptor. Keep posting because I think that people noticing, at least that is my opinion. I still try to post at least once a day.

I think that if we look at this as a long term investment is the best way to do it, I know the prices are low but just keep going because I think it will pay off in the long term.

There are a ton of discords that are willing to help if you want need so don't be afraid to reach out.

I also noticed that the posts are going down. This proves what I thought. The people on the steemit post for money. I do not think where from passion.

Yeah its the way it is, I think everyone posts for financial reward to some extent though, thats why nobody ever declines payment on any videos/posts right?

I post cause I love making videos, the money is just a bonus

Very true, but it's helpful lol

Yeah its my goal to make it a full time job

Well posting while the price is down Surely means you get given a bigger stake so it’s kinda the best time for small accounts to be more active and even invest in some steem

I’m personally not too worried about the payouts I actually want to build an audience on here for my podcast and other plans I have for future!

I’ve been building a website for 2 years now and this is the 4th time I’m going to build it now and hopefully it takes off and steemit has helped me explore plenty of new ideas on how I should code and structure it

Great video. I'm an agreement with you. Fantastic work.

Thanks IJ! Glad to hear you agree 😀. Always nice when you stop by.

I am happy that you make this post... I must try make same post too.
And I try make every day photo that I can but here up. It is not easy but I try.
I hope your day cool there... here in Estonia is sun up and warm :)

True! I am too a strong believer that cryptos are here to stay and sooner or later atleast all the good projects are surely going to the moon.. Steemit being one of them ! Plus it connects you with people around the globe.. what better can it be ! :)

Great great post this is good advice especially for up-and-coming to just started

Thanks for the info. I just joined steemit and dtube and what you say is so true , I have a super huge following on youtube with my music videos , I'm a musician and also remaster retro classic music videos which is called BUBBLEROCK , I have arounnd 800 music videos I did , it took me around 5 years to build up the followwing by uploading all the time. , all I did was just make the music and videos and just post and that was it , no promoting , just great content and everyone just comes to me , eveything started blowing up big around 2 years ago with millions of views and subscribers. I see Steemit and Dtube to follow suit in the coming months ahead with my blog and channel. I'm a posting and uploading machine , Ha Ha !!! Check out my blog and Dtube channel and follow me , I just started posting my videos last week.If you wnat to subscribe to my youtube channel to see all videos just fine me ,- danbanrock1 - on youtube. I just upvoited your video and subscribed , let me know what you think of my videos especially my own music , Peace , Dan

I am not sure how you think that comment has anything to do with gender?

Very good inspiring video! So many people quit, of course life can get in the way, but don't give up! :) And you are correct we are still in the early early adaption stage here with Steemit and Dtube! Exciting to see how things will progress in the future! :)

hahaha yeah the market sucks right now. My cryptocurrency portfolio is pretty sad. But I haven't sold anything, so I haven't lost anything. haha

haha, thats a great way to think about it. Plus theres always avocado hot dogs to cheer us up! 🤣

LOL I mean yeah, for sure!! Might have to have another for dinner. LOL :)

Well said @aplhasteem. I agree this is a long term investment. When youtube started out the monetized people right away. They started off small and grew with the platform. Now there are many many people with millions of subscribers and they make a lot of money. Sure they have had a lot of changes there and some have lost revenue but the big channels do very well. Here is is kind of the same thing. Keep making your videos, build a following, interact with your viewers and YOU WILL GROW. The price of steem won't stay low forever and people should take advantage of the low price and buy some if they can. In time they will become bigger and bigger just like people on YouTube. Don't give up and keep on posting. Great video Lydia!

I think your right long term it should be a good investment. Short term I think it will go lower... I'm waiting for .10 to buy in 😀. LOL Thanks for stopping by. Keep posting some videos Dtube loves you now!

The ones who continue posting and using the platform when the prices are down are the ones who will be way ahead when the prices go back up :)

I like it! 😀

Indeed true words! Prices will go up, and than you wil be rewarded to just had sustain this phase-

That's what I think, even if it goes lower, I think it will go up 😀

Or wen can do a cheap power up :-) when it’s low :-)

And buy steem if IT is under 1$ if you complain about never having voting Power.

Yeah I'll buy a lot at .10 hehe

yeah that's true absolutely because only posting blog can make a impact people will ignore once twice thrice then they will start reading your blog and if it is interested then you will get success so i suggest to post at least once in a day to stay alive in the steemit

Yeah I think once a day is a good amount. Maybe twice, I don't like to overwhelm people.

alphasteem ...nice video frnd.....i am sravani ...your new frnd......please chick out my channel........

Hey there, checked out your account and video. Make sure you authenticate that it is you in the video, it's kind of hard to tell if the post is original just some friendly advice 😉

Great message Alpha!! Love your positivity

Ty, I love mene.

And mene loves you!

totally agree about being in from the early days, the growth and potential here is massive

Yeah for sure, and people are backing out cus of the prices which is unfortunate but I guess its understandable in a sense unless you love doing it, you won't keep doing it...but I think it presents a good opportunity for us that keep going.

exactly, let those people go I say, makes it easier for us to grow and improve :-p

Love the intro beats, very nice effect.
You are right, we are still in the early stages of steemit never mind dtube. Look at all the people that are long time poster’s, they all have 60+ rep with tons of follower even if they have been posting IMO crap. Everyone will find their follower base, each at their own pace, yet think about all the weird crap on youtube that has a following and will randomly get recognition from longtime creators.
Commenting is #1, when it comes to getting noticed, don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. Community is #2, for each community you are active in there will be someone that finds you interesting.
The DTube upvote has defiantly gotten a lot better at recognizing the new smaller creators, I see we all have the chance to get that upvote but is that the only reason we are here? Message? Having Fun? I crave more for interaction then income, yet it is the process of creation that keep me at it. I honestly enjoy taking raw footage and making something interesting out of it, how can I spice up this guy babbling type idea 🤣

Thanks, lol still working on the intro... not satisfied. Yeah, dtube has gotten more fair I would agree. Realistically I think income is the top reason everyone is here, I think were all hoping for high prices in the future I know I would love to be able to create full time and that be my primary focus...I love the engagement steemit brings, no doubt, you have been a long timer too so I'm glad to see you getting rewarded 😀 and you are doing good keep it up! Still hoping to see some bread making one day lol.

Let's not forget to focus on posting quality content, not to encourage just posting random stuff without meaning :)

haha, I guess I didn't mention that huh? I assumed it should be a given.

I will tell you what, even I came here for the money but am no spam bot like everyone who just comments on all posts and everything just for the upvotes they want and for comments they want, I came here not just for the money though, I came here so I can master this platform and become a whale here, I want high reputation. Thanks for this beautiful post maam <3

Thanks for making this video! I think it is a funny time on the platform and I've noticed lots of people dropping off too... funnily enough though I feel more excited than ever about it! I think the potential here is really huge and we just need to know that it's seriously the beginning!

Do you think that I would post my best recipes when I don't have community around me who will appreciate it?
I mean In my last post with full recipe (expect your comment) I didn't get any feedback from living person. It's really depressing. Seriously, I'd rather would like to have 0 upvotes (because they came from bots or people who don't really care about your post) then get 0 comments ander my post !
As alternative solution I started to makie postys with photos of my dishes. In this posts I have a description that If I find some interest for certain dish then I will build a full recipe for it. Maybe this will allow me to build a small community.
Do you thing it's a bad idea?

I think you should join some of the other communities already around, there are plenty. @srecipes, @steemkitchen @adsactly...each of these are beneficial and I'm part of them on discord. I think this has helped me a lot and I'm planning to come out with a video about how community has helped me. Try to get on discord.

Thank you for your advice! I'll try it for sure and I wait for this video.
