“There is nothing to writing. All you do is sit down at a typewriter and bleed.”

― Ernest Hemingway

We've all gone through this: We jot down what topic to write, we plan on how we would make the story flow and we do all sorts of other planning before we begin writing!

I've done this many times throughout the course of my adult life. "Adult" life.

The one thing that never seems to fail and that I can never eliminate is the fact that once I am in front of my computer eagerly waiting to begin writing, I look blankly to the screen.

"But, I've written out my Topic, my plan and my flow!"

Why is it so difficult to begin? I don't get it...

For me, every time I begin to write, new ideas keep crawling into my thick skull!
To be honest, it annoys the heck out of me. Yes, yes.. new ideas may be good for you but! it messes up the flow of your story...

When it messes up the flow of your story, that's when your story f**ks up sometimes. But, if you're the kind of writer who is able to handle with that sorta thing then GOOD FOR YOU

When people (People who don't write) come up to you and tell you

"There's nothing to writing, all you do is sit at a typewriter."

Make sure you put an emphasis on:

"AND BLEED"

The thing about writing is, you never know what story is going to be read and what will story will be pushed away and never ever want to be seen again. You can never know.

The Writer's Dilemma.

There are so many Dilemmas out there, but I feel that most writer's are stuck with are these two:

1) How do you choose between stories which pay the bills

2) Stories that you are passionate and amazing at writing?

Well, most people would say pick one over the other because you need either one of those satisfactions - and you should focus on either.

To resolve this dilemma, why not do both?

You can always write about what you are passionate about, what you love and what you enjoy writing and always make money doing so! It's possible. So many writers have done it. So can you!

Your story is useless without words. No matter how boring and dull your story is, you can make it sound wonderful once you master the art of writing brilliantly and captivate your audience. I'm still learning how to write better.

Writing, is a learning process. You never know when you're going to be good, great or the best writer of all time. Once you have an audience, then you'll know what a great writer you are. It takes time, practice and patience!
Just like anything else in the world.

Let me know what you think!

If you enjoy this piece, your UpVotes, Follows and Resteems are very much appreciated!
