Great explanation! I don't like the glasses, but the tutorial is great. It will definitely help the new members of this amazing community. The video looks quite professional. I give it a 4.5 out of 5!
This is a cool and informative series you're doing here-- very good for newcomers to learn from, especially since you have the reputation and following that suggests to people you know what you're talking about.
When you decide there's an "end," I hope you'll do a summary post to list each clip... it would be a really useful tool to share with recent arrivals.
thank you ;) you are welcome ;)) yes well i wanted to share my knowledge!! and once i do my first 10 series yes i will make one huge post you will be able to share with all the newbies and direct them here :)
Great post! I first saw Steemit almost a year ago, but only viewed it a few times a month. I finally opened an account recently after I saw one of your early posts. I hope you do more videos like this and even more advanced. I just upvoted you and I think it added more than $30! I'd sure like to see a video explaining that. Most upvotes I have done have added a few cents.
Thank you for all your hard work. It make it easier for new members like me to learn more about Steemit feature and to become more successful ourselves.
This is awesome! Nice work. I think this is something that every new minnow should watch. Thanks for doing this. You picked up a new follower.
Keep up the good work.
"How much you get in is how much you will get out" - You are 100% right!!!
Great work Alla, thanks again for the valuable content ♥
Would you suggest to use tags, that are already popular in order to be found easier when you are starting. Or does it also make sense to use tags like "vegan" that are not so popular yet, but you want to make more popular on steemit :)
thank you ;) well i would use tags that are more relevant to you rather than popular ones, as there is loads of them and your content might get lost!! yes exactly use vegan tag :P
Thanks, nice video. We need to be able to search for tags! For exmaple if I want to look for Gridcoin, I have to click on 'Show More Topics...' then scroll on the full A-Z listing, and Gridcoin is a very popular active tag.
Allasyummyfood - A very helpful tutorial. As a relative newcomer to not only Steemit but the entire social media scene, I was unfamiliar with tags and their importance. I have been using tags but just of generic nature without realizing what the implication is. Thank you for your guidance.
I am also refraining from posting links to my blogs as pointed out by you in your earlier comments. I am sure that you will certainly take a look at my blogs if you are so inclined. Your comments are ofcourse very valuable to me and will be very welcome. Thanks
Thanks for your sharing. It is a useful post for the newbie like me. I will follow the steps and try it later. (It is because I am doing something else now) I hope you can post more tutorial posts so let me know more about Steemit. Sometimes I really confused. Thanks.
Very useful as usual @allasyummyfood. Thanks a lot, your posts are really helping me here :)
Resteeming of course!!
Inviting you to follow me so you can check and give your input on my posts ;)
i just love to see you popup on my feed. i love your positive energy and forward momentum, it lifts me up to do the same. like going to the bar with ya fav people you know? that's all! keep doing you. mwah x
@allasyummyfood, I have been on steem it for less than a week now. Thanks for your advise. When I am commenting a post and want to quote a section of author's blog post in my comment /reply to him, how do I do that?
@allasyummyfood, I have a doubt. Can I post a Video from internet? It is not mine, but I cannot shoot it as it is a very remote village high up in mountains and very far place. I am making a story and there is a video and some actual picture of this village folks in net which I want to use. Is that alright or I am not supposed to use any 3rd party images or video? of course I shall be giving them proper credit in my blog. without the photos and video the blog looses its life.
yeah you can use a video and pictures from internet but what are you talking about? will you be writing a story or what> otherwise its not so original and not a new content, because its not yours!
@allasyummyfood. the story is mine. this is not copy paste thingy. the narration is my own. this is about a unique village culture that I want to showcase. so I cannot change the content much as that culture remains same which I have to put across with my own words. and there is very little information about it on internet. Perhaps a couple of pages max. my content has to come from these pages and my knowledge of the region to some extent. only my narration and presentation changes with my own photos and views.
You are alway's such a Darling! I have re-steemed you for all the Newbies because you explain things so well with your video.
You have a fantastic day 🕉😍

Short and sweet video on a topic that I'm continuing to learn and get used to on Steemit - picking the right tags for a post! In my first few posts, I was usually just picking tags that I personally felt were most relevant to the post. Now I know and have confirmed with your fantastic tips that it is important to check out the list of tags/topics on the Steemit home page, which are definitely in order for a reason! Now I think I'm doing a better job of picking the right tags for my posts - very important in order to make sure more people can read your wonderful work!
Awesome work as always Alla, keep smashing this video series - congrats for already making it to video 5! Can't wait for the celebration that awaits when you get to the 10th video yessss! :D
Hi @allasyummyfood! Again video for us newbies! Thank you! Really helpful! I have one question - today I wrote introductional post in I see that it only has 30 views...and in such a big community that's little...i know I ask a lot, but can you please check what I'm doing wrong here? I don't have many followers that's one thing...what else am I missing here? Are my tags ok?
Great explanation! I don't like the glasses, but the tutorial is great. It will definitely help the new members of this amazing community. The video looks quite professional. I give it a 4.5 out of 5!
