Still way better than a "nice post". And why hell should the comments serve a purpose for the author. He expressed his opinion in the post, I'll express mine in the comments. I don't care if that makes or brakes the author, the same way as he didn't think about me when he written the post.

Again it's hard to judge since i haven't read the post. If the comment was related to the post, good. If not, that's what I was referring too, it sucks and no one like spam or copy & paste...
I agree with him that I am not supposed to upvote anything.
I don't really believe the Grant or probably someone on his team is going around spamming people with random pictures. That would be amazing though :)) Still, probably never going to happen.
