Avatar Change, Effective Immediately: It's About Time I Used My Real Face.

Reading about the importance of citing your images and using royalty free ones where possible got me thinking about my profile design. I can probably replicate the banner easily enough, though it's a common pattern and I believe was a royalty free wallpaper to begin with.

The photo however was from a fashion shoot. Rather than make some unwitting model into my public face on this platform going forward I've decided to use my own, being that it isn't radically different. I am also liable to change the description in the coming months as I continue to branch out and make more single-interest focused blogs, like @exploregon.

Below is the original, followed by two increasingly desaturated variants. I chose the third for the high contrast, so it would remain discernible when crunched down to the tiny avatar bubble. (Edit: Switched to the second one for a little hint of color)

Anyway this has just been a heads up, as if you're like me, change is confusing and unwelcome. There will be no radical shifts in content to accompany this, save for the addition of Ultimate Zoo Battle, which I have high hopes for. That's all for the time being, further notices will be posted as events warrant.
