I think the main reasons newbies are discouraged are three:
- Tedious approval process
- Relatively complex structure of the system
- Newbies get 0 eyes on their posts as good as they are so they earn like 2 cents and give up
If SteemIt can get through those challanges I think it will go at a much faster rate!
Newbies just want to earn 50$+ for their 1st post and cash out instead of upgrading steem power.
