The dictionary defines expectation as the act or state of looking forward to an event as about to happen, we all get to use this word very often but do you really know what it entails?
This singular word has the potential to draw to you, all your plans and aspirations, so in essence you need know how to be expectant, what to do when expectant that shows you are expecting. A simple illustration
A man gets a call from his brother, saying he was on his way to his house, immediately this man gets up and puts a bottle of wine in the fridge to cool it and in the same vein told his wife to prepare a nice meal his brother was coming>
Now note he hasn't seen his brother yet, he wasn't even sure if the brother will eventually make it to his place, but he was expecting his brother and that was his part to play, to work his expectation.
In life we have so many dreams and aspirations what we expect to happen or better still are wishing to happen but what differentiates wishes and expectations are what you do in both, wishes are just there in your heart sometimes you might vocalize them and just gamble the possibility of it coming to pass but in expectations, you are sure it should happen so you prepare for its happening.
So first things first, believe in yourself that you deserve what you are expecting, this is very important as it helps cushion doubt ,
what are you expecting?
- Is it wealth?
- Is it a good home?
- A good degree?
- A great many sources of income?
- To finally be a whale someday?
Whatever, it is you can be it, just do something about your expectations , to wealth , start doing something no matter how little, diligence pays
For a good home, work on yourself, attitudes , morals, your genera health, just keep doing what you know a good home entails
Study hard and smart for a good degree
Be innovative, be flexibly ,be accomdating dont be too regimented be a risk taker only then will you have so many portfolios yielding increase for you.
Remember if you can see it and it never clears off ,you can achieve it
So dearie dont just sit doing nothing when you are expectant , show it, make a move. Do something to hasten your expectations

Expectations can be summed up to what Hebrews chapter 11 writes about, FAITH. then had some measures of faith that was why he not only told kept wine for him but told his wife to cook. Our amount of faith will make us to do more than what we expect in life.

LOL sometimes we tend to find gold in unlikely places
To me, that's generally how it happens, because it stands out. I've found US post offices to be depressing places filled with people who hated their jobs. I had to read their sign three times before I finally realized that was indeed what it said.
I let go of expectations a long time ago, after I learned that having expectations will often lead to disappointment.
I try to live my life without them, and it has made me a much happier person. I know take life as it comes, without expecting anything, and I must say, it has been one of the best decidions I ever made...
