I'm loving this platform! The more I use it, the more positive and motivated I feel. I truly think facebook has changed the way content creators create. After having battled algorithms for so long, putting effort into writing content started to feel like wasted time, more people saw posts with 2-3 words and a link than a well written post with 2-3 paragraphs... I started to realize once I found Steemit just how much I had been censoring myself in order to try to reach people. I wasn't being genuine anymore, I wasn't excited to create content. It started to feel like a job, not a passion. By taking the time to read other people's posts and interact with them in a meaningful way, I've started to find that passion again. By paying attention to other people's content, I feel I'm starting to get back to creating better content myself. I;ve seen my posts go from earning a few pennies to often a few dollars, and in 13 days I went from 508 followers to 784 followers. I feel I'm starting to find"my tribe" again, and it's awesome! :)
