1 Most important Tip For Long-Term Success On Steemit

in #steemit7 years ago (edited)

Dear steemit friends,

Today I want to share a very simple tip on steemit ..

That is engagement!

Steemit is really different from other social media platform for eg youtube because there are more viewers than the creators. But in steemit , most of us create contents but if you are focusing on creating contents only , you will find yourself that your contents aren't getting views, let alone upvotes etc.

And I also want to give a special shoutout to these kinds people who has continuously support me with their kind comments. Yeah, few of them doesn't speak english well and sometimes their english aren't right but I really appreciate that they take their time to read and really try to understand. So Thank you very much!

nice tip! thank you!

Very well said! Commenting and engaging is the fastest way to grow on Steemit. I try to tell most of the newer people that, but sometimes they don’t get it haha.. anyway I always enjoy your posts :)

Thank you very muchh..you have also been commenting such supporting comments since from the beginning.. I appreciate it.. yes they don't get it and they will start spamming which everyone hates it.

Hey, @aburmeseabroad.

Thanks so much for the mention and the recognition. I simply provide support and encouragement to the members of the Steemit community who produce great work and who might benefit from my support.

Keep up your fine work, and I'll keep supporting you. It's always a pleasure seeing and reading your posts.

Thank you very much ..

Many new Steemians may not realise how valuable engagement can be.

For your own posts, when you respond to Replies from your audience, you start to build a group of loyal followers who dig your content.

For commenting on posts created by others, you can surprise yourself that the rewards may far outstrip author rewards for your own posts. Ensure that you read the posts and provide feedback that is related to the content. Do not post spam contents. You will get flagged.

Hot Tip: For the content that you enjoy & engage with, check out those who make useful and valuable comments in these posts. Perhaps you can decide to follow them, review their posts & comment in them. They are more likely to reciprocate and your earnings will rise.

It is very true indeed. I have focused the last few months (even though I took some time away to handle some personal matters) on providing content more than commenting and sharing my two cents on someone else's posts. I am now starting to engage and becoming an active member, both in posting new content and providing feedback to others!

yeah that's really great.. lets keep steeming!

You are my inspiration to keep working. You have indirectly taught me and my friends in Steemit. We love you so much @aburmeseabroad

thank you very much , so kind for the support.. try making posts better and better everyday.. good luck.

ကျေးဇူးတင်ပါတယ် @aburmeseabroad, I hope some of the users writing comments on Steemit I upvoted your post, please upvote and follow me will read your article (unless they are bots : )

3337 subs in 7 months isn't bad.

Couldn’t agree more! I’ve found being actively engaged n interacting via post n comments has been the number 1 way I’ve been able to increase my earnings over the past month. Great advice! :)

Hello @aburmeseabroad and @onepercentbetter,
Not sure if I had sent this message before. Anyway,
We are currently trying to create a Steemit community for fellow Singaporeans or residents.
Inspired by what other countries had done (teamaustralia, teammalaysia, etc), a community will help Singapore Steemians to grow together. We can share ideas, collaborate efforts and learn from each other.
If you are interested, feel free to join this newly created Facebook group and unite together! https://www.facebook.com/groups/steemsingapore/
Or you can find out more in this post https://steemit.com/teamsingapore/@culgin/steemit-journey-calling-out-to-fellow-singaporeans
Hope to see you participate in this community! #teamsingapore

awesome to see another soul frm sg. checked out the page. teamsingapore abit long leh teamsg ?

another ingredient you might throw in, discipline together with ya engagement =) so far you're pretty consistent, keep doing the work. Unlike on youtube, on steemit the $$ result is faster to see

Indeed for us beginners are very heavy to continue this steemit. Many things that make us discouraged when nobody wants to vote but thanks to some senior posts here we will continue

people will upvote if they like what you post, so we got to try what our followers or readers enjoy.. don't be discouraged and keep on steeming.

certainly. we will keep trying and trying

Thanks for info...
Greetings from Berlin
Joshi

I admit my English is not good, but I will give as best I can. Thank you for sharing our success tips with us @aburmeseabroad

yes .. be sincere is the way to go. Thank you!

Thanks! @sidsun on steemit

Thanks for the advice,, I'm actually new here

your welcome.. Welcome to steemit..

Please come to my blog and see what I can say about the coin.

thanks for ur info but this post is not about the coin.

Thank you very much for highlighting engagement. This is the part I enjoy the most here because I get to connect to different people from all over the world! I haven't watched the dtube yet as I'm just sneaking in some Steemit time here in the office haha. I'll check it out when I get home :)

UPDATE: Finally got home and watched your video. It's my first time to see you on video and you look so pretty and nice. You inspire me to make dtube posts but right now I'm still hesitatnt to show my face so I cover my face in my photos.

I like what you said about checking on your followers' post. I would like to take care and have real connections with my followers too :)

thank you for watching the video, haha I also did the same.. always sneaking into steemit. Yes go ahead on dtube, they are so supportive! yes, especially we didn't have a lot of Steem power to start out.. so taking care of people who have supported us either upvote or comment are so important.

I appreciate your reply :) I'll keep that in mind.

Ya gotta be out there reading and commenting on what other people are posting. It certainly is THE best thing a new Steemian can do. Thanks for helping out the new minnows :D

I think even for me , reminder I am way behind to check out everyone's post.

In the end of the day... it is all a about helping others. Focus on helping others succeed and you will reap the rewards as well. My model: treat others like you want to be treated.

Thank for your advice.That's right.

you are welcome.

Wow.
Why am I Wow-ing?

Because you put me on your thank-you list. I feel honored.

And thanks for the great tips. You're right.
Socializing is one of the key for success in steemit ☺️. Making good content and giving value to other users content by upvoting and commenting them will make us grow and success 😉

Thank you aburmeseabroad for making a transfer to me for an upvote of 1.22% on this post!

Half of your bid goes to @budgets which funds growth projects for Steem like our top 25 posts on Steem!

The other half helps holders of Steem power earn about 60% APR on a delegation to me!

True.Engagement is very important on Steemit, most people completely forget about it!

Yes.. so simply but we completely ignore because all of us are working so hard to make post and to produce better post.

Yep,I just discovered the "power" of engagement here on Steemit as well!

thank you.. practise make perfect.. try to learn slowly .. one step at a time!

You are doing a great job, I love your dtubes!
hugs @aburmeseabroad

thank you very much.
