This does give me a good chance though to apologise for not continuing the conversation on your blog the other day. I was tired and had little more to add. I really appreciate your stance and know this has come with plenty of thought and experience.

I'm curious as to why you would call yourself stupid. Self abuse is not a healthy thing. However, if the intent was more of a technique to spur on debate, it worked.
Thank you for honouring me with those words. I know that my views can be very challenging and difficult at times. It is not easy. I do appreciate and value your support and willingness to have the conversations, even if we don't agree. I have a great deal of respect and admiration for you because of your approach and your capacity to have challenging conversations while keeping them peaceful. Not many people can do that. Bravo to you for walking the path and honouring people despite their differences.
It was a clickbait title in some respects yes, I don't think it's stupid - perhaps naive and unselfish? Anyway, I'm glad I have you and others taking this approach too, that provides me with comfort and support that we are doing it right.
