My new Gig. Jia Hui Oak School. Wish My Kids Can Go Here.

Like, Seriously, Horses, Drones and a View Oh My.

First day of school in China is not just a ”Let’s meet and greet” spectacle parents in the west later regret taking the day off for. Or maybe this schools is special.

(picturesque)

I may have lucked out taking this job though I was, for the most part, forced to consider so far I am not regretting it. Day one is always a Jam meant to inspire the youth and their parents.

I will miss my sweet Public School schedule. I made so much less financially and I hope that the spiritual rewards can keep up. I’m not here for money, never was, China is a great place for those that want more money and freedom and I relished I that but now I’m obligated to make more. I will overload you westerners with the freedoms I have in China in another post.

Horses. Yes, we had horses.

One girl riding the horse was white which attracted a lot of attention. Though, having non chinese at events like this are typical.

We had drones.

Sitting in my office waiting for the crowd to subside or a familiar face, which ever came first, I caugth a drone hovering near me.

The view was out of a story, especially if you grew up reading Timothy Pratchert, Harry Potter or you saw the movie in it’s prime ”Legend”, maybe even Princess Bride. This landscape is priceless and right out of a book. I expect to climb them in the coming months.

Amazing how the tables have turned. Used to be America was the place to go to make money; now China is that place.

Bitcoin aside, that’s really the place to make money these days… If you got balls. This huge campus is serverly under studented if you get my drift. It’s so far from my home but, yet, considered the same city. Dalian is HUGE. Taxi to work is no longer feasible so I must take another route, though my salary will make peanuts of of my trans time to work based on todays projections.

I even got dibs on the best desk in the office which I chose thi spto for reasons I may share in the future.

The food was stellar, as the chefs wanted to impress the new recruits, let’s hope it holds out. I expect it will.

The rest of the photos are random and I hope you enjoy. They are my new life; My new life in several ways.

This is my new desk, brand new, never used. I chose this spot for the view not so much the window. Many may have chosen one as far from the boss as possible, I chose t based on random views, it may change in the future. Not even the computers are connected yet. Awesome!!

My car parked right where I asked the driver to leave it.

But seriously, The significant pay raise and the new feel that I crave every year. How could I be anything less than a Yes Man; it took me more than 5 years to be a crouchy umm maybe ass who rejected this life.

Teaching in China has always been my favourite adventure, from flyer guy to to canada's top P2P marketing supervisor to life on the fringe to this... I could not expect anything better, when I expected so much worse. Maybe it will crash down on me, it probably will, but i love the thrill and the ride, can't be beat.

Life is Life I was once told by someone who does not practice what they preach.

Anyways.. This is my playground, requires some work, I don't care; life is good, let's make it the best!

##I have asked several times.... who wants a job?

I mean to say we got live camels and hillside views. Unbeatable!

You wouldn't like it. It's a harsh life. Don't you miss serving triple dick shits at Starbucks like @mindhunter did before he was steemit rich and can now say F.U. to all of us.

I am @solarguy the guy missing the old Steemit world but trying to struggle in the new Steemit world.

Sort:

Well, as long as you are enjoying making the best out of it, have a good life.

I do enjoy my life here, most of the time. hehe. I do miss being back home, wish I could have this job in Canada. Hopefully my Crypto will sore to the sky and I can do anything anywhere anytime. ^^

A new Singapore restaurant opened up here in one of the busiest parts of the city. Every time I go by I think of your food posts. I should go in soon and try it out but I'm always so busy when I'm in the area.

Of course you have to try. We need to compare notes:-)

Congrats! You're a winner of @msg768's daily giveaway #84. To find out more, click HERE.

Thank you.

That is one heck of an awesome school ! Nice car by the way ;) And yes I agree with you now china is The Land Of Opportunity!

It is a sexy car. Wish it was mine. When steem hits the moon I might have to get one. lol

I think it's a good idea, it really is a beauty of a car !

Great Culture. The last pic looks like a male Camel

What I noticed was this camel was quite heavy for its place. First thing I noticed was how fat it was. It not in its home.

This huge campus is serverly under studented if you get my drift.

I don't really understand. If they put on a big show for the first day of school, but there are no students it would make me suspicious.

There's lots of students but the classes seem to have about 9-12 students each. So lots of space. It's a new campus so I expect the next years to come they will fill up more.

Great. Thanks for sharing. I'm starting to follow you.

Amazing picture...!!
