This is @chefsteve at his best! Wow man, what a dish! You really went all way in elevating the carrot! Using the tops of carrots for the pesto is just an awesome idea and full of creativity!

Thank you, Chef! I am humbled by such complements! I was so inspired by the creativity that I saw in last week's competition. It made me really focus and think outside the box this week. Thank you for organizing this competition. I has helped me to get outside my comfort zone and to push my boundaries again. I have been working in a comfort zone for too long. I feel that I am creative again and I am super motivated to do new things with food.

In fact , another main idea behind steemit iron chef is to make everyone push their limits and transform the product of the week. I am sure all those who joined will just keep doing better and better each week by looking at others entries.
