Hello friends steemit I am going to tell them a bit of the history of my plates.
I am Venezuelan, native of the condition Monagas in the orirnte of the country, of the warm zone with many beaches; nowadays I live in the condition Merida for three months; them cover mountains cold and snow.
I am married with the Andean - oriental one ( It was born in monagas but his family is of merida) for six years like that that great of you show restraint typical of this Andean zone already it had proved them and also prepared.
When I saw that the ingredient of this week was to our choice and that it had to represent a bit of the place wherefrom we are, rapidly one came to my mind to use the potato and the yucca; since Merida has fertile and productive lands and here the potato is harvested galore and in the east of the country the yucca is harvested, and it is served in many preparations, this way I can prepare the better of my two worlds.
My first preparation is a very typical breakfast in cover Merideños he is called "Pisca Andina" for his preparation the following ingredients are in use:
- 2 potatoes
- Cebollin
- 4 Garlic cloves
- Coriander
- 1 egg
- 1 Ulna or broth of chicken
- 1/2 cup of milk informs
- Salt and pepper to the taste
The potatoes must be cut in buckets and set to whiten in Boiled water ulna or with broth of chicken. The cebollin the garlic and the pepper sofrien with little oil or of butter, depends on the taste of every family, when the potatoes esten soft one adds the slightly fried one and the egg to slow fire the ingredients are mixed until the egg takes the consistency that you wish (you are who they like it I swing and to others hard) finally adds the milk and mixes carefully that does not boil. It is served warmly and with fresh Coriander punctured in chunks.
I am a mom and must be ingenious for that my daughter eats vegetables and vegetables and that he enjoys it doing because of it my another preparation it is a salad of flavored yucca.
The following ingredients are needed:
*Yuca
- Onion
- paprika
*1Garlic cloves
*coriander
*adobo
The yucca must put in Boiled water until this one sluggish, then the ornaments are cut in medium chunks they must be cut in small and thin chunks they all join in a bold together with the yucca it is mixed and finally it is flavored by seasoning. Accompany this salad on boiled rice and sweet and sour chicken.
