just copy and paste the youtube URL in, if you find its not working switch between 'markdown' editor mode. you may want to do a few 'test' post before you post your master piece blog with incorrect links. search steemit for "markdown editor " tutorial

no worries, I find the markdown editor mode like 'ms word' is very annoying to use for beginners. its better to learn the key short cuts on the basic editor mode.
Just go to your youtube video and click on share and then click on embed copy
the entire link and place it in your post that's it easy!!
