Have you ever tried candle meditation Sheryl?? I stare at a candle 20 mins a day for meditation, inspiration and to close the book of the mind for a bit :)

No, but I focus my attention on something else to help me meditate and leave my thoughts behind. I will try the candle mediation though.

The light of the candle is also a good healing energy for clearing all the chakra centres as well as sloughing off all the stress of that particular day. It REALLY centres me even more than the closed eye techniques for meditation ;)

I have lite different color candles for different intentions!
