Thank you for kindness. I'm not sure, I can look it up but all I remember is it is a rare form of cancer associated with what he was exposed to in Iraq. He had his first round of chemo with 5 more to go, making him sicker each time. He is a strong young man but of course, it is scary. I wish it were me instead of him.
I am sure it is heart breaking for you as a parent. I have two little monkeys and three step kids, but only in touch with one which is 21 and a soldier. I am with you. I would joke with my kid at the hospital and cry at home. If you need somebody to talk to you can find me on the steemit chat under koala. Hugs!
I forget, it's a rare form that is associated with whatever he was exposed to in Iraq. It's isolated behind his knee and hasn't spread. He's undergoing chemo and radiation to shrink it and then they are going to remove it. I am hopeful but it's hard to see your strong strapping son suffer so much. Thank you for asking.
I hope he has a good prognosis and feels better soon. I had a tumor as a kid in my hip. Stuff like that makes you even stronger and gives you a positive outlook on life. I appreciate every minute, hour.
