Great comments @hisnameisolllie. I agree with the points you made, in particular your point about "the importance of there being an attainable stake for every user on Steemit." I believe one of the ways to do this is to find ways to recognise the posts of new and undiscovered authors. Otherwise, overtime they will be discouraged and leave. I suggested the introduction of a co-authoring feature on Steemit. I wrote a post on this.
