This is a report about what comments I have upvoted or downvoted today. In each report, I generally include three comments I have downvoted and feature one comment I have upvoted. I am posting this report so that new users can understand what kind of comment are perceived negatively and what comments are perceived positively by the Steemit community.

Comments I have downvoted today:

A. Comment link, Reason: Comment spam.

The comment was nothing but a facebook like image. It added basically nothing to complement the post. The user who posted it also posted the same image as comment in many other posts.

B. Comment link, Reason: Post promotion in comments. Severe comment spam.

The comment was promoting a post by the commenter. It had nothing to do with the post and therefore it is spam.

C. Comment link, Reason: Misbehavior + comment spam.

The comment informed me that she has upvoted and followed me. This type of comment in itself is not comment spam but considered misbehavior. But the user who posted this comment made the same comment on other posts as well. That is certainly comment spam (correct me if I am wrong).

A. Comment link, Reason: Well written comment that is relevant to the post.

This is a comment by @ecoinstant in @jerrybanfield's post about views on steem posts. The comment constructively adds relevant insights to the post.
