Any time I see a reply to a post with instant upvotes of that reply by a ton of accounts, I quickly become suspicious. By instant I mean instant too. It isn't like they went to their friends and said, "Hey, help me out here." When I ask the people doing it, they always feign ignorance. "I have no idea how that happened..." Yeah, right.
I see people working on the problem too, but there's an issue with intro posts as well. A ton of bogus crap is spamming the intro tagged posts. It's a big mess. I'm seeing it because I regularly go through intro posts looking for promising new accounts to welcome to Steemit!
Agreed. Bam. New Comment/post. Then dozens up upvotes. I see that too. Puppets. Spam. Bots. Like weeds in a garden. Yeah. Especially in the Introduction posts like you said. But I think real people can still outnumber the fake accounts in number and in power. But we got to be patient in all of that.
