another steemian -- another story

in #steemians7 years ago (edited)

hello steem community, I am zee

things I would enjoy doing or being apart of more: gardening (cuttings, diy, native revege projects, local weeding groups, bulbs, australian flora), filming (local bands, short film, eclectic documentaries, something surreal), volunteering (visual art, music, poetry, charity communities)... and i'm not sure the rest can be broken down so easily.

steem-goals

  • to have a regular and decent standard of posts
  • without over thinking, I want this to develop organically
  • minimal stress and finding a genuine space to re-build values
  • I can seem cynical at times, but will focus on sharing my interests
  • offering support to others, down and out

About damn-time:

I have long held determined beliefs about who I am and going to talk about myself instantly comes into conflict with many ol' begrudged cruxes. I would never say I am a photographer or poet or artist, or anything in particular of my own accord -- 1. for the most part my skill/outcomes don't meet my own standards (which I only tend to apply to myself), 2. people shouldn't be pegged to being any one thing, simply for comfort of permanence for the other.

yeahman

In this world we can be many many things and stifling people's drive by having a fixated perception of them is bleak and defeating.
People can perpetuate defeatism too easily and feed it to others, before they really accept it in any way for themselves. Antagonism is rife and hypocrisy is the core to ignorance -- these are things I oppose (esp. neural antagonizers and every manifestation of this).

There are many reasons to be excited for the future and as scary as it can be, accepting truths is not about choosing to believe things that benefit us. Sometimes we can consider the truth of the other, even if it goes against our best interests -- I believe this is a practice of strength. And weakness is a scary thing.

My posts may not always be well written, coherent, tangible or worthwhile, but I look forward to sharing my creativity here on steem; especially in a place where the currency that normally drives negativity and meaning out of life (in the least; where-as, usually it incentivises a division of community into ego and ego into sin)-- here is an appreciation of each other.

Things you may expect from me:

Currently studying visual arts, jewellery making and sculpture mainly, I may post mini-info-pack blogs. Photos and little known facts. All of my views are my own and do not reflect the steem management or community. I have no affiliations and can be a pretty good consultant (generally); however, for an devout skeptic I can go from 0 to sounding like a salesman in under 3-seconds if the odd something is convincing or grabs me as sincere, or just has earned some iota of my trust.

In this life I have found it difficult to not sound perilous, but I feel trod down, sometimes almost every day. Sometimes it can be very difficult to pick up (from being trod on even once and again) and want to be innovative for the world, but that is for another post -- and yet you can expect I will share little ideas that are free for the making. Not unconditionally, but in goodwill.

~ My Ultimate Goals ~

Reforest a desert. Not ignore that the world is in a state I would not wish for my most unconceivable enemy -- and care enough to care.

Deratify prejudices. Use my deductive reasoning to sort things out.

Just... a lot of things...

To not be trod down. Sometimes abyssal can blackmail us e.g. into being wasteful and living beneath each other.

Thanks for accepting me here.
Steeeem on!
