Being a total FNG to this network (this is my first post ever) I was wondering if anyone knew the reason behind Steemit users being reffered to as "Steemians" as opposed to "Steemers." True, Steemer sounds a lot more like something you make happen after lunch at Taco Bell than a member of revolutionary social media, but "Steemian" still sounds a bit too "geek-chic" (is that even a thing) if you ask me (no on has).
In any case, I was just wondering where that came from and whether or not it's too late to consider a change. Also, I'd like some help/tips in regards to my initial "introduceyourself" post . Thanks in advance for the input.
