AR-muse is an Augmented Reality (AR) application to augment learning in museums. By using Natural Feature Tracking techniques, AR-muse brings artworks to life by enabling artists and curators to digitally enhance the artworks using AR technology.
Are you a fanatic of art then I believe this is what you’ve been looking for. This is an augmented reality allowing the possibility to enhance different art works digitally with it tracking techniques embedded more can be done when ever you visit a museum.

This is a great idea, and one which I'd love to play with.
But, if you've ever visited a major museum/gallery, like the Louvre in Paris, and seen the hordes around the Mona Lisa (or Sunflowers in London), then I'm not sure I'd appreciate this much.
It would add a whole new level of annoying people trying to interact with the art. Call me a purist, or a snob, but I believe you should stand and look at a piece of art, take it in and experience it "in the flesh", rather than trying to photograph it (why!?!???) or take a selfie with it.
I like the idea of the tech, but I know I'd be annoyed by people using it if the gallery was too crowded.
But for learning, and exploring art in new ways...wow!!!
