Everyone seems to love Nasi Lemak. There's a saying says that if you are Malaysian, it is impossible for you to not love this dish! In fact, it could be considered as the Malaysian national dish. So, what's so special about Nasi Lemak? Jom! Let's take a look at the recipe for this amazing dish!
Total time needed: Approximately 1 hour
Total servings: 2-3 persons
Ingredients
• 1 cup of basmati rice
• 0.5 cup of coconut milk
• 1 cup of water
• 1 piece of pandan leaf
• 3 (small) slices of ginger
• A pinch of salt
Ingredients for the sambal:
• 2 cups of anchovies
• 20 stalks of dried chili (finely grounded)
• 3 red onions
• 3 white onions
• Some ginger (A little bit will do)
• 1 cup of tamarind water
• 2 tablespoon of white sugar
• A pinch of salt
• Some belacan (A little bit will do)
