I got the small one as a gift and I love it! I even use it at home to charge the 4 AA batteries which I use to power "non-essential" things like decorative string of lights. It's great to be able to use free solar energy to power non-essential, decorative lights.
Pros:
Really practical to put in your windshield
You can hook it up directly to anything that takes USB cable
Or you can bank the energy through the 4 AA batteries, although I wouldn't do that on the car windshield
Cons:
Gonna make you think twice before paying for batteries at the store
Upvoted this (with my measly 0.01) from steemhunt.com (not steemit or busy) because the current Steemhunt rewards algorithm does not count upvotes from any other frontend besides steemhunt.com, just FYI
Thanks for the heads up! I was just about to post there
Due to account based voting what matter the most is actually the reputation. I wonder if @steemhunt is going to give bigger voting value for accounts with 70+ reputation. Your reputation barely moves after hitting 61 and after 70 it's a almost not moving at all.

According to the Steemhunt moderator's post (answer 2a) from a few days ago, any Steem account with rep over 60 has voting power of 3.

That might change, of course ;-)
it's great if hey could add more power to the higher reputation accounts. It really gives a sense of worth to the people who have put a lot of investment into the eco-system. It's not easy to reach 70+ reputation at all.
Account based voting is always vulnerable to sibyl attacks(multiple accounts) and some people like berniesanders own 50+ accounts. If you use bidbots you can reach 60 reputation without loosing much money. It will only take few hundred dollars at best.
I hope @steemhunt would change the ABV after SMTs and use something like HUNT Power with slightly non-linear rewards (n^1.1 to n^1.3)
This is the exact argument of some critics of the current system. That it will basically degenerate into a battle for votes from as many accounts as possible. Today's announcement confirms the big effort in banning v4v attempts.
Im glad you mentioned "investment" because i think one's SP is correlated with his investment in steem, hence its value in any system. Will keep you posted as this plays out 🙂
At the current stage V4V can be taken care of. But when the platform grow big enough for something like a million Daily Active Accounts, these ABV system are unsustainable. But there is a lot of time to improve. So things will be OK.
My simplistic understanding is that their log scale makes it nearly impossible to increment after one hits 70 SP. Steemhunt used to display the Steemhunt rank of users but unfortunately I can't find that any longer. By choosing
to rely solely on Rep, my question is whether SH can manage to escape the problems that are reasonably solved by the use of the SP construct. Steemhunt owners are very idealistic, which is a great starting point, but time will soon tell if it is naiveté.
