We only accept these four product links:
Official product website
Major app store link (AppStore, PlayStore, etc)
Crowdfunding sites (Kickstarter, Indiegogo, etc)
Github, Bitbucket repositories for open source proejcts.
It clearly states that github repositories are acceptable .
They don't seem to check links very good. If you notice right now 7 out of the top 30 spots are MODS. You wouldn't know that if you wasn't in the discord. They can't even follow the RULES they should be following. I have seen non English sites being approved by MODS. It states the sites need to be ENGLISH. And when I explained that to them on DISCORD they ignore me.
Dude, do you know how many things we need to check for every single hunt? It is so much work to verify everything, we're trying to follow all the guidelines and reconcile them to every possible scenario... and you know as well as I do... the mods might be in the top 30 in the first 12 hours... but we'll all get pushed back in the 2nd 12 hours.
Maybe you should apply to be a mod, it is so much harder than you think.
Hi @kizzbonez... my apologies. I've spoken about this case with the team. I was under the impression that we required a proper website first, and then a github repository to see if it was open source or not. After lengthy discussion (seriously) we've decided that cool products that just have a github repo are fine... so I've now approved your hunt. Thanks for your comment and questioning the moderation... we've only been active for a week so there's still a lot for us to sort out. Again you have my apologies.
thank you so much :)
