Hunter's comment

Today i'd like to show you a countertops for your house made out of recycled glass materials. They are made by company named Glass Recycled. The Company uses a whole lot of used materials (mirrors, beer bottles, vodka bottles, pearls, porcelain, shells, windshields, windows and vine bottles) to produce a unique and personalized appearance of their products.

These countertops are made out of 85% recycled glass and porcelain aggregates and 15% of VOC-free epoxy resin. They are fully costumizable with over 15 premier design collections colors or by completely custom mixed colors. Besides that they are Eco-friendly and should last a great amount of time since the company provides 10 year warranty. Check the beautiful samples on their site !

They look absolutely gorgeous!

I am sorry but how does this not cover a point 2-6 (innovative enineering/design products, approach to solve a major problem). Last i heard pollution is a big deal for our planet and this product is made by recycling used glass bottles and such. Besides i see hunts like this get approved all the time. Can you look at it again @pialejoana ?

Morning Morning ...!

Pollution really is something very important. However, I consider that this product is not submitted correctly under 2.6. It is only glass and a mixture that compacts said glasses.
I do not know about your country. But in my country it is very common to see this type of work, which is done by a conventional bricklayer.

I hope you are understanding. Regards.!

Well thanks for the explanation! I understand but like you said for some countrys this might not be so conventional and common.
I will try to not make same mistakes in the future. Thank you @pialejoana!

Opinion:

  • I love the concept which is why this hunt earned my full upvote, so good job @k3vin but I worry about aesthetics as I don't love the examples that they provided.

Thank you @fruitdaddy! Everybody has their own taste i guess. I love the concept aswell.

the designs look elegant and stylish. the best of these Glass Recycled Surfaces is its eco-friendly nature and am I big fan of these products. definately a buy recommendation from my side. Nice hunt.

Solid Hunt Kev. This look would be awesome in any kitchen and the fact that the materials are recycled add to the overall effect. When we can find new cases to reuse and recycle things it benefits us all. Awesome

Glass is something natural and making counter tops from such residual remainings, is just something put at good use. Great product!

Great Idea to recycle those materials in order to make good looking surfaces from it. I really like the look and the design of this surfaces! Good Hunt!!!
