Hunter's comment

I don't know about you but if there is a subject I hated in school, it was mathematics. I hated it because I never seemed to understand anything that was taught. All the x and y, theorems, equations seemed like an Alien language to me. I had to spend a long period of time going through all that I had been taught for a small bit of it to stick to my brain.

I am certain that I wasn't the only one with this dilemma because several of my friends back then also went through the same thing. You might be tempted to call us dullards but here is the thing, we performed well in other subjects.

Back then, we would have given anything to get people to help us solve our maths problems but that usually made us seem stupid the few times we tried that, so we just suffered in silence.

In the world of today, technology is finding it's way into every aspect of human life from religious activities to agriculture to building and even education. I was taught the alphabets on a chalkboard but kids these days are taught on screens, making me almost feel older than I actually am. We're learning to use technology n solving our problems.

Today, I present to you Photomath, an app which functions like a QR reader. Through the app, you can point your phone's camera towards a maths problem and get the answer in seconds. Cool, isn't it?

Photomaths supports various aspects mathematics, including trigonometry, arithmetics, roots, logarithms, linear equations and inequalities, systems of equations, derivatives and integrals, etc.

Merits Of PhotoMaths

  • It contains a smart calculator.

  • It provides a detailed explanation of how the answers are gotten.

  • It is capable of solving even handwritten equations.

  • It contains a camera calculator.

  • It supports graphs.

Demerits

  • It doesn't recognise every handwritten problems.
  • It isn't capable of solving word problems.

This is dope..... I wish I had this during my secondary school days.

Mehn...
Technology is helping us alot.
Even those we couldn't and can't imagine they now take us unaware...

Here's my review for this hunt :

Pros:

  • PhotoMath is an app that can solve math problems by just pointing your camera to them. The app works very similarly to QR readers, and shows you the solution for the problem in seconds.
  • it lets you see a complete transcription of the step by step operation followed to reach the solution. Instead of just showing you the result and nothing else, PhotoMath lets you see every step before the solution.
  • PhotoMath is a good math application that lets you solve problems in seconds

Cons :

  • No cons as it is very helpful.

Pros:

AWESOME !!

why this app is not yet present when i was still in school :(

an app that works like a QR reader. Through the app, you can point your phone camera to a math problem and get the answer within seconds and be able to answer math problems like trigonometry, arithmetic, root, logarithm, linear equations and inequalities, equation systems, derivatives and integrals.

This is an easy way to solve a difficult math problem :)

Cons:

What if we are lazy to think and make dependence on this application for math affairs. is not this one big problem.
