Hunter's comment

R-one is a system of group robots that basically behave and have many of the skills that ants have, and is that these robots have a network of coupling that allows them to work and think as a single robot, that is to say that r-one is a robot that bases its operation on mobility and group work, able to perform missions of exploration, search and even recovery of objects because these robots are capable of carrying a great weight.

CONGRATULATIONS...!

This type of robot certainly resemble a nanorobot that I saw a while ago in a movie called HERO, and it seems great that we are getting closer and closer to creating robots that can be coupled and work together. Just to imagine that these robots are capable of working together for the same goal seems to be amazing; especially by the jump of quality that would give to the investigations and tasks of search and recognition where drones & other robots can access.

WONDERFUL coherence and coordination...
Building robots is easy but to make them work together in an efficient and coordinated manner is a real challenge. Imagine too many of small robots working together to do a large/complex task!!!(e.g working of ants or bees)
This may sound simple at the surface but it is quite a challenging in fact

This is VERY OLD... I mean.. I was in the Uni 11 years ago when I first saw this... and they were already old... So definitively OLD! =) The latest upgrade of these are levitated robots or laser fight weaponry!

Very exciting work.

Micro-bots, working together to act as a larger robot - kinda reminds me of the [animated] movie 'Big Hero 6'.

Just make these smaller, have them look like little robot ninjas and voila - you have a high-tech army of mini-bots, ready to cause havoc! LOL

Seriously, the potential for this kind of 'micro-bot' tech is very exciting. I can't wait to see how this field develops in the future. As the tech gets better, and the bots smaller, more and more interesting solutions will follow.

Great hunt!

OMG this is so cool! Freaky But Cool! Working in unison and being able to carry a lot of weight I could see these Robotic "Ants" being utilized by the Army and in factories! Todays technology continues to surprise me on a daily basis, and I really loved this hunt!💁👍💕👌

Congratulations!
