If you have ever wanted to own your personal jet, you can build your own jet by The Subsonex Kit.
It is the first truly affordable and practical personal jet.
Its concept was unveiled at Air Venture in 2009.
Price for Tail Kids : $1950
Quick Build Kit is $44000.
You can uppgrade by Ultra Quick Build Kit for $5000.
Its maximum range is 410 miles.

There is a good speed and the 410 miles range is sufficient for most tasks. You can build and fly for $115,328 which is a steal compared to owning a more traditional plane. Of course there are drawbacks to this as well. It would be interesting to see a rental company employ this model.

The V tail is notorious for getting inexperienced pilots into a "death spiral", which was a common occurance with similar Beech and Cessna versions. The Pilatus C-24 is purpose built for those warlords and drug cartels who must use unpaved airstrips and need a heavy load carrying ability.
