I recently stumbled upon this nifty new steemit app called Partiko and decided to give it a try. It is presently available on Android platform and also avilable for beta testers on iOS. The app sports a clean look with material design contemporary to most of the present day apps.
The features are:
- Scrolling articles are fast. Also articles load relatively quick.
- In-app search facilty is available to search articles and users.
- Login authorization via SteemConnect.
- User can upvote and comment on blog posts from within the app.
As per the Play store page for the app, Resteem, Notification and other features will be added during future app updates.
But as of the latest android version, I tried the resteem feature and it worked! But there are some functions like access to wallet, changing profile picture and transfer of tokens are yet to be added.
I have only used it for a day and the experience has been a mixed bag. The app is lightweight and does not seem to drain battery.
I hope the app will become a full fledged client for steem in future.
