MoodTools is a self-help app developed with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) technology with the aim of targeting depression. The app helps you discover helpful videos that can improve or change your mood by analyzing how you think using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy method.
It also helps you develop suicide safety plan to keep you safe and with the emergency resources, one can seek for support during suicidal crisis.

My wife works with people on a daily basis that need to develop their social/emotional health. She has been digging into a lot of tools that deal with mindfulness and being calm and things like that. She actually deals with a huge range of mental health issues and other similar things. This might be an app that I need to tell her about. I can potentially see her using this to supplement her knowledge and experience. She is usually pretty good at diagnosing things without the help of an app, but as I said, this could be a good supplement or verification tool.

This app will get to help reduce suicide plan by individuals. Lack of sound mind is a great challenge and it foster suicide, so i guess that with this app, death rate and depression will reduce.
