teaching kids the value of savings is really important. specially in today's world where kids are growing in a much more scarier world. 10 15 years down the line, the world will look very different. machine learning an AI will make many jobs redundant. faster computing power may make investing a machine driven thing completely. tech would have wiped out over a billion jobs. either we save for them, or they learn to invest because expensive lifestyles will be difficult to keep up with.
Well, I didn't understand a word of the videos, but I get the concept - and I love it.
It amazes me that kids are taught nothing about money in school (unless they take economics as a class later in school) - at least this is the case in the UK.
I'm teaching my daughter the value of money as best I can, and that saving is good, and debt is bad. She's still only 5, but it's better to introduce basic concepts early, and build from there.
I hope she'll take an interest naturally, and even become entrepreneurial - I won't force it, but would love her to think this way.
And services/products like this help kids to get an understanding of money, and because it's their own money they're tracking, it adds to the importance in their eyes.
I'm not sure Credit Suisse accounts are available in the UK, but I'll have to look into it.

My parents taught me the value of saving when I was a little kid. I'm here where I am thanks to those things I've learned and the money I Saved. It started from putting coins in a piggy bank an a parent taking me to the bank and putting that in my account and handing me the passbook. I felt proud and I've been a smart saver.
Kids MUST learn these things while they are already young or they will grow up to be less responsible adults. New tech can actually help the cause than his deranatv into. I think you have shared an excellent app. Preach financial responsibility 😇

All kids should learn everything at the early ages, especially finance. It will be great for them, when they grow. We cannot be kid again but we can teach them at the early ages. Viva Kids looks like one of the most useful platform for their future. Great hunt @calprut

Yes, yes and yes. This is exactly what our children need. Our education system is out of date and we don't equip our kids with enough life skills. This looks like a great product for teaching kids how to budget and save their money. Great hunt

I can't also understand the language but it seems like its a great innovation. i just want to make this clear: can the parents set a specific task or chore and have that rewarded? There's a scene where the kid seems to be looking at his phone- maybe looking at the set task?

I think it is very important for kids to understand the concept of wealth and how to handle it. Money comes very difficult but it is lost very fast. Understanding saving up from an early age can be truly beneficiary for kids as they developing and taking what they learn within their childhood to the adulthood. Well as a matter of fact this is indeed necessary from my point of view though as we should accept that Money is indeed a necessity in our life and the more early we get tho understand the value of it the more we will stop our self is wasting it in things that are not necessary by the way. While yeah this way the kids can get an idea of saving money where it sure will help them to focus on saving money in the future for their better good.
