App to provide the most accurate, current weather report showing detailed radar of local weather phenomenon. In addition to the usual weather app functions, this app uses local NOAA radar to show you real time radar weather in your area. You can see the weather coming at you literally minute by minute. Really cool information to know for outdoors enthusiasts. You can decide whether to continue your activity, plan to hurry or delay activities, and stay safe and dry.
Pros:

  • Free iPhone app
  • Uses the most accurate available local radar
  • Radar view allows you to "see" the weather coming at you.
'- Also shows more typical hour-by-hour daily report, longer term forcast.
  • Allows severe weather alerts if desired.
  • Also shows sunrise and sunset times.
    Cons:
  • iPhone only.
  • It takes some practice to learn to interpret the radar information, but after learning it can be very helpful.
  • Apple has a built in weather app so this will be a second app on your screen.

Summary: It is really cool to be able to use accurate local radar weather information for outdoors enthusiasts to better plan their day afield.

Hi @birdbanter,

Thanks for your hunt. I’ve reviewed and approved it. The hunt is on.

It is one of the best applications to know the weather conditions, and it is characterized by high accuracy in monitoring the weather and the use of sophisticated firecrackers, because it is a very useful application @birdbanter

Thanks. I find it really useful. I can check when the sky looks threatening to see where I might go to avoid the next rain squall or mini-front of weather.

Congratulation! Your hunt was ranked in 90th place on 16 Jun 2018 on Steemhunt.
