Many people might have heard of robotic puppy, they can bite, wag tail like real dogs. Aibo dog using AI (artificial intelligence) technology to allow the dog to be able to respond to owner, deep thinking and react different based on events happened in the day. Most importantly and differ than other robotic products, it uses cloud service to save data for each of the Aibo dog,like emotions, inner motivations and experiences. That means each Aibo dog will be unique as it grows each day with you, the way you raise the dog would highly affect its behavior , personality and knowledge. Aibo dog records everything it sees and hears everyday and store that in the cloud, that's where it memory stores.
Aibo weights 2.2 kg and the battery can last 2 hours without charging, and it has 10+ sensors , 2 cameras and 4 Microphones.
Overall Aibo dog looks charming, can be smart and fully responsive to owner. with a price about $1,700, that seems a little pricey for a toy but reasonable as an intelligent robot with cloud service enabled. The concern I have for this product is how safe is the data the robot dog has uploaded to cloud? Since the dog is with you everyday, it sees and hears a lot of personal stuff, these data could be very sensitive.

Even police needs to take the help of dog to find criminal or evidence of crime so robo dog can not replace the real
Hi friend! I love this hunt. This can somehow be safe to your family or neighbors because this dog can’t bite and does not have rabies.
We do have the same concerns, there might be a possible data disclosure. In addition, possible cons maybe the following:
Expensive
High maintenance
Not possible for outdoor activities (especially if the weather is not good)
Lastly, I still believe with the genuine love of real dogs.
