Sanji -Anime Drawing Tutorial with the Self-Taught Artist

Another anime drawing tutorial for good feedbacks!

Sanji was introduced in One Piece Manga and Anime in Volume 5 Chapter 43 and Episode 20. He is the cook of the Straw Hat Pirates, as well as the former sous chef of the Baratie and dreamed to find the rumored chef's Paradise.

Material Used:

• Prisma color pencil
• Textured drawing paper
• Ink pen
• Mechanical Pencil

First, draw Sanji in action using mechanical pencil then trace it with Ink pen.

Next, apply color on skin and Sanji's hair.

Sanji has blonde hair which he keeps brushed over one side of his face. Before the time skip, this was the left side. After the two-year time skip, he switched his hairstyle so that it covers the right side.

Afterwards, color his costume. And this is Sanji after the time skip in anime. -with the red cape.

Lastly, the finishing the other details and background.

For the flame effect, choose the right color then color it lightly. Do not use too much force. Go gently. Remember, it takes time. You must be patient. Afterwards, use blender or white colored prisma between the dark and light. Repeat the procedure until you get satisfied.

That's it. I finished coloring Sanji. It took me almost 10 hours to do everything and I am very satisfied with the result.
