Yes, one thing I noticed is that unfortunately a system like this is very much "the slightly rich get slightly richer", because those who already have good gaming equipment and internet connections have a huge advantage, not to diminish the amount of skill it takes to win.

This is true but then, like steemit itself, one has to be persistent and patient. With new people going into gaming every day you are always one step ahead of a couple of people.
